Gang hideouts and treasure maps

Doe anyone know why I have not found any treasure maps in 8 hideouts I have taken out.I have looked for loot boxes.looted all enemy.and nothing.am I missing something

Make sure you loot all the bodies, I've only got 2 out of about 20 hideouts!

They are rare. I have soloed 36 gang hideouts and only found four treasure maps.

I didn’t think that gang hideouts had treasure maps. Jewellery and cash, yes - but I’ve never seen a map found at a hideout.

I was scratching my head on this also,  maybe online?  i don't play online so that's a guess.   I've never seen a map, or read about a map online, being found at a camp or hideout.

its just random and in our little crew we have found 3 or 4 between us so it definately works.just found some in last few days. We have a fun little crew so anyone fancy joining in link up saffron280982 ps4  Western avengers.we have ages from 70 down so feel free.its relaxed and no grief

Yep definitely online, you don't get maps from hideouts in story mode.
