Fishing Competitions

VERY curious to see what the locations, fish spawn rate and payouts will be.  Also, will there be a time limit and can you only do it once or multiple times throughout the day?

I was looking at this but I cannot find out how to  Start the  competition

I don’t think It made the initial release. I think it’s part of the trickledown release for the coming weeks like the Evans repeater and the gold armour free roam event.

I'm guessing that it will be either a timed competition or first-to-catch a limit type of thing...or both.

With all the complaints about griefers attacking hunters/fishers, hopefully they can put something ingame that blocks others from engaging you while you are fishing/hunting or this will be a huge clusterfudge.

well... they definitely f'd this up by the way it has been implemented... 8 hours in over the past couple of days and not ONE popup... kinda like treasure maps

We understand that you are not able to find the fishing challenge in Red Dead Online Beta. We would like to inform you that the fishing challenge was only available on the 19th of March

I only received the care package for fishing today - that's 3 days too late then...

Had a fishing competition pop up for me last night. Didn't join it because I didn't  want to lose the cougar I had on my horse.

Ok, then the dude at rs is lying to me and this just keep on getting weirder
