Rick
Playing for almost 5 hours. Made my rounds I usually run to hit all the hideouts and Dynamic Events. NOT 1 spawned yet. It's dead something major is wrong. Also getting kicked a lot on PS4.
C20Dragon
I've never experience this before, but I've been in servers where there's no animals spawning. To solve your problem just try switching servers until they show up. That's what I do to get the animals to spawn again.
James Hickok_1837
Y- day i played about 6 hours and noticed lack of hideouts and events too. Changed servers frequently. Got only one hideout and 2 events. I even notice some kind of a glitch when the hideout icon turns on when you are close to a hideout spot and then instantly off. Strange,
V0RT3X
You can kinda trigger those hideouts and defend the camps too by just doing something different. Looks a little like the game notices you're busy and wants to nag you by spawning them For example ride to a place near one of those campsites and go fishing. Not just only picking up the fishing rod, you really have to catch some fish. Usually doesn't take long until the event spawns. But consider those events have a cooldown time too, after you finished one you can't just go back fishing and wait that it spawns again. So better try this in an area not many other players are active (quick travel). Edited July 1, 2019 by V0RT3X

I,ve noticed that when im busy hunting with horse stacked up to the roof or running stranger missions those events pop more often. sometimes im like cmon NOW ... and have to ditch a carcass to help a stranger out. When i look for those hideouts and events on purpose sometimes it takes ages. Edited July 3, 2019 by James Hickok_1837
simply_the_lex
I was just about to post a thread about this and a possible solution to it. Ive had this for about a week, no gang hideouts, no random strangers, no travelers being attacked, I think it might have even messed up paid killings at one point. But last night the game some how magically fixed it self after I went into Blackwater and got a haircut. Either that or it happend after I accidentally ran into a wagon with a cougar on the back of my horse, and when i went to pick up the cougar it had become some weird taxidermy cougar with a skinned cougar dangling out of the bottom of it. But i think it was the haircut that did it. It was like I wasnt pretty enough for stangers, gangs and travellers, but as soon as I got my hair done, they took interest again. Hopefully this solves it coz a week with this was starting to get annoying. Edited July 11, 2019 by simply_the_lex
Kean_1
Yeah, it's always been a matter of "feast or famine" for me.
