Daily Challenge Streak Treasure Map Reward

Well as I suspected all this time, the reward for a 28 day daily challenge streak is 1 measly treasure map as a one-off. 😡I had hoped given that R* seem to have reduced the chances of looting treasure maps that they were compensating for them being more plentiful from other means such as keeping the streak going beyond 28 days but it seems not. The streak hasn't even reset so I don't know if I get another in 28 days or if that's it. The gold bonus keeps going which is great and all but that treasure map buckle looks pretty unobtainable in the foreseeable. Oh well, I'll write it off with the travel by canoe and majority of the competitive buckles I guess.

Are you a PS4 player? The 3 free maps from Rockstar certainly helps.😀

Yeah it helps but thats a one-off whereas a challenge reward would've been something you could rely on. I have about 13 in my satchel right now as I cba to do them but that still only puts me at about 50. Rate of getting them going forward will be slower so it'll likely take hundreds of hours of grinding hideouts and a fair bit of luck to obtain the buckle. Oh well.

Make sure to look for ambushes, and camps to defend. Enemies have a chance to drop maps with them as well. Same with enemies killed during stranger missions. Maybe my luck has been better recently, but I've seen an uptick in map spawns after the latest updates. Also, keep grinding those levels to get one every 5th.

I'm lvl 116 and pretty sure I've never gotten a map from anything other than hideouts, handouts and ranking up. I've read before its possible to get them from these other activities but I've never had that happen. I even lost a map the other day with a server disconnect when I was doing Gaptooth hideout. The game remembered my bow kills and lost arrows but the treasure map....what treasure map??

I'm level 153 and I still get them from ranking up and I just got one the other day from defending a camp.

Yeah I am on day 30 myself and I was wondering the same thing, the icon for the day 28 challenge hasnt changed colors it is still grey and it has a clock on it, so I wasnt sure what was up.

The gold bonus is great and still working, but I wonder for how much longer.

Yesterday I got two maps in like a 30 minute window from looting bodies at a campsite ambush.

My challenge page finally changed to white and the little clock is gone, Im not sure about the multiplier anymore but at least on day 31 it changed, now it is stuck on day 30 so I think it is over.

I will see later tonight.

Just got to my final daiky streak and no map.is there something im missing.been post office and nothing.wasnt added to my pouch either

I encountered Treasure Hunters so probably no more drops from other missions or random looting only way to rob  treasure a hunter but today seems back to normal drop from random looting

Jst to update this, back on June 13th when I had posted this, I was at day 31, I forgot to log on the following day and reset my progress!! I was so mad at myself.

But then I got back on it, today I am on day 88 or 89 and yeah you only ever got that one map, BUt the multiplier remained so for the past 60 days or so I have gotten 1 gold bar for every daily challenge that I did.

I played 31 days, missed a day and then went 88 days in a row again, I have played 118 days out of 119 just to get the daily challenge gold, and I am glad I did, the 255 gold bars I think it was that I had when the update dropped Tuesday came in very handy, I am now down to 155 gold, and $3500 cash, down from $10,550, so all those consecutive days of doing my daily challenges really paid off.

Most days I just came in, did a few then bounced, some days it took less than 10 minutes.

Yeah, my challenge streak was reset as well. I logged on last night and did my daily challenge for the tenth day in a row (two hours before the challenge reset). I logged on today and saw my streak was reset to zero.

Report it to R*. I did actually get the 50gb compensation Moosh mentioned for this bug yesterday. Not sure if that covers what I’m missing out on, especially given the extra dailies there are now, but it’s something.

Wouldnt know cant get a damn streak, I get a few days and then it resets, had a 15 day streak that ended randomly the day after the summer update launched and haven't been able to get a streak going since
