I’m not good with introductions but here I go:

I’m 27 years old, I have two dogs and I play on PS4. I used to attend art school, but then I took cripplingly low confidence to the knee so gaming, cooking and doting/stressing over my pets is pretty much all I’m good for. RDR2 is one of my most favorite games (even if it gave me feels at every turn) so I’m just getting back into playing both the campaign and RDO and I’m really excited for future updates and I’m just over here quietly keeping my fingers crossed for hunting dogs to be added one day ❤️

I love playing co-op when it’s an option in games but since I’m ridiculously shy, quiet and awkward it’s hard for me to actively seek out others to play with (even harder still if there are pvp elements because I worry they might think “lmao is this fool frontin’ on me?” and try to perforate me when I just want that flower they’re stepping on) but with a game like RDR2, with all the wonderful realism and immersion, the picturesque scenery and sounds, the story characters, the fishing I think it’d be nice to have at least one other person to play with. For companionship if nothing else.  Since defensive’s been added so far I’ve only been killed a handful of times ( I deserved one death since I stupidly panicked and ran headlong into another player on a narrow path and I think I killed their horse 😬 ) but I haven’t really been griefed, which is nice.

And....I guess that’s all? I don’t know what else to say... I’m sorry for this not-very-introductive introduction. I hope you’re all having a nice day and a happy 4th to those celebrating!

Hey there - fellow anxious player here! *waves shyly* Defensive Mode has made the game playable for Awkward Anxious Me and I'm glad it seems to be working for you as well! I so very much relate to much of what you wrote!
