In how many of the endings does this happen?

, but I was wondering about whether or not this happens in all the endings. Is there an ending where this doesn't happen? Just a yes or no please.

Yeah this can't be avoided. I was hoping for an alternate ending to avoid it but that is not the case.

It just bums me about because I got attached and was not planning on it. Happened in RDR as well.

I don't know why so many people were upset about this. I saw some pretty negative reactions on reddit and other places.

I remember when the game wasn't even out yet how many people were getting pissed over Arthur. Very few people seemed to actually like him. After playing the game and realizing the dude ends up getting killed, suddenly so many people like him and wished it didn't happen or it had an option to avoid it like an alternate ending. This is not a shot at anyone here or the OP but this tends to be how the internet reacts to stuff anymore. Hard to keep up!
