Unknown Character in Gameplay Video

I presume that uses these forums must have had seen the latest Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Video. I've noticed a character who hasn't been shown in any previous videos/ trailers before. Here are a few screenshots of the mysterious guy/guys.

 

 

He can also be seen in the online bonuses for pre-ordering as well, I apologize for the quality had to zoom, but you can make out it's the same guy.

I've seen a few people saying that this is our first look at Red Dead Online gameplay because he looks quite similar to the Online character shown in the description of the Ultimate Edition but I feel he looks different enough to just be a random character from Singleplayer as he doesn't have a ponytail or the same clothes as the Online character, the only similarity is his facial hair but I could be wrong as we don't get a good profile shot of him.

@Archbell may have changed the features to mislead everyone to thinking it isn't the same guy.

I just assumed it was part of the online gameplay but I really don't know. It may just be a brand new character. I am sure we will see a number of old faces but we already know there will be new ones in the game.
