This forum has came a long way to say the least. I remember when I first joined the site weeks before the game even came out and we were all talking about the game a lot and getting super hyped which was so fun. Once most of us had the actual game on pre-download we were all counting down and sharing our experience on the forum, talking about the story with everyone and giving each other advice. It was truly so much fun, and glad those memories will be history. Not sure if @Benjo will ever come back to the forum, but man we sure had a great time discussing the ending and what we thought of the game. I definitely remember @Kean_1 being there and @Lonestar. It was truly a fun experience and I can't wait to make more memories along the way!

Hi All, I'd like to remind folks to please report any posts you believe are a violation of forums rules. That includes spam and questionable links to other sites. We do our best to browse these forums but we can't catch everything. We would greatly appreciate any help you folks could provide by using that report button when you see suspect activity be it a troll, spammer, inappropriate posts, etc. Thanks

Yet the person in charge thinks everyone needs to play in one public lobby type.. Sort of like opening a bar and having 3 bands playing 3 different types of music at the same time on the same stage. And then the owner of the bar keeps telling the sound guy to balance it out so everyone can hear what ever bad the want clearly. The Sound guy tries his best.. But it won't matter. Because the only thing that will work are WALLS and separate stages.

Just as different as play styles of the players.

Report this kind of stuff to R*. Ask support if this is how its supposed to work and if not, they need to fix it. You may need to also submit it as feedback as a suggestion. Personally, I haven't been griefed once since the last TU and rarely see another player although there seems to always be 20+ people in my sessions. .....but then again, I always choose a spawn point away from my destination as the game tends to clump people together.

I completely agree with you on the lvl range -- a lot of them are lvl 14/15 or so, that I've encountered. One thing I don't agree is that I don't think the guy who was outright brawling with me, when I was loading into Poker, was testing his oats, lol. I'm pretty laid back, but even that just got to me --I tried finding him on multiple servers so I could shoot his horse (he probably wouldn't have insurance), and I'm an honorable player! Oh well.

I have noticed since the latest update and being out of Beta there have been a lot of lower level players on the servers. Many under lvl 20. Few over lvl 30. I think many of the newer players may not really know what to do so they shoot. I have also found when you fight back they either run or instantly parley. I am not convinced they are intentionally griefing. I believe they just need to test their oats and see what the game is about and what is acceptable. I have also noticed this more during the earlier evening hours and they are younger kids. I play later as well and there isn't as much grief going on. Send the kids to bed and lets ride!

To prevent people rigging games. If two or more people can communicate without the other players knowing, it gives you. as a 'team' a massive advantage. If you could do it before, its because R* hadn't thought to disable it.

No problem regarding the edit. As far as the troubleshooting steps, it's all part of the process when addressing issues that are not recognized as being "known" problems. If you were describing an issue to them that they know about and have been told their devs are addressing, you would likely get a response along those lines. This is why I tell people to keep reporting glitches / bugs so R* knows they are not isolated instances. btw, I played RDO for the first time since I initialized and reinstalled the system software back on my PS4 last Friday. I played for about 1 hour and 45 minutes with encountering this blue-screen error. My problem may be behind me now. What exactly fixed it in my case, we may never know.

Defensive mode was never supposed to be invulnerable mode... maybe you shouldn’t have died from a single shotgun blast, but I’m not thinking it was a ‘critical’ hit (like varmit rifle to the head), but the massive damage killed you anyway. Bottom line, defensive or not the idea is you still have to be a little cautious. I’m not sure I’d actually want invincible mode myself, but I do see how your experience was a little frustrating

Again, I would remind folks to please report this and any issues they are having to R* Support. For every one person who does report an issue, I'll wager there are dozens that don't. The best way to draw attention to these problems is to report them to R* directly via their Support page as linked in previous response(s)

The games take far too long for you to lose your money in seconds. I like that they put poker in the game and hope it opens the door for more table games but it sure eats up a lot of time for very limited reward. I can’t see myself playing it too often.

Ever since this update and removal of Beta I have been grief'd nonstop 😓 It's just really, really, getting to me *sigh* I was Matchmaking to a Poker game and some stupid, pre-pubescent, shrilly kid started punching me --I couldn't do anything about it because I was loading into a game. Really ****ing annoying </rant>
