R* purposely throttles in game pay outs on missions based on time spent. Far as I see it, people who exploit an already exploitive system are just balancing things out. So no.. we don't need a roll back. Nor do we need penalties. You may not mind losing a few thousand dollars, but that doesn't mean EVERYONE should be punished including those who didn't participate in the duping/payouts. Besides its only cheating if its pvp related. Cheating money is only cheating against the system R* forced onto players. R* needs to change things to be flat pay rates...not time spent. Why the hell do players get less money for finishing missions too fast? Instead players have to sit there with their thumbs up their ass for 15 mins to get full payouts.2 points

Mic/Headset required. Committed to * Exploring and enjoying the game *Strategically extracting points from spontaneous missions, story missions, hideouts, overtaking other players/posses' missions, and daily challenges. I like variety. Have you ever scored 1017 or 973 on a story or stranger mission? It's thrilling *Exterminating, extinguishing, eliminating, blowing away, vanquishing, demoralizing Griefers. *Leveling up. Players who ride and have ridden with me achieve 1-2+ levels per day. None of it works unless everybody is on-board with teamwork and willingness to a go along with the plan of the moment. But it's not a dictatorship, I will listen to and ask for suggestions of what-next. I'm not afraid to give stray cats the boot. The Name: blue hair is a u.s. expression describing an elderly person. Blue Hare is a play on those words. I am retired. It is also a combination of my two character names: The Grey Hare - Now Level 130 When: Early U.S. Central time to accommodate Western Europe; 1130AM U.S. Central The Blue Hare Crew--We're Taking Aim1 point

Hi, I read a lot of posts on here but rarely write any, but I have been enraged by the recent major glitches( Cougar & Fish duplicating). That has been blighting us since the game came out of Beta. & Rockstar seems to have done nothing!! They can see by just looking on You Tube , what players are doing to make fast money,by these exploits. IMO these exploits are ruining the game for hard working grinders like myself , who save up to buy nice items, only to hear & see that fellow players are making huge sums of money, some in excess of $50,000 & buying everything they want. This will kill the integrity of the game, did Rockstar not learn anything from the GTA exploitations? Some Players are bragging that they are untraceable , as they are not a member of Rockstar's Social Club & have already spent their ill gotten gains, Hence the need for a rollback as a deterrent. I don't mind losing a few thousand dollars I have made to make a stand against this cheating. Rockstar need to act fast. We need an immediate rollback & if possible, severe penalties for those that repeat this in the future. What do you think?1 point

Sask. here too, but I have been having a lot of these disconnects. They tend to happen more not long after I log in from being off a few hours. I have submitted reports to Rockstar and have received the same response about reformatting HDD, etc. Also performed the cache wipe as described here and that didn't help either. I am stumped.1 point

Its still time based. R* just giving a little bit extra gold. Stranger enounters for example. I did the exact same one twice last night. Where I had to rescue someone and give him a ride. 1st time.. Did it really quick. Killed everyone, untied him and gave him a ride to Valentine. Got about $4. 2nd time.. I decided to untie the guy. But I left him behind. Instead of just walking to valentine.. he decided to follow me for 40 mins over a mountain side. (Which is funny because it would have taken him 5 mins to walk to Valentine instead of chasing me over a mountain) Eventually I got sick of him following me and brought him to Valentine. And the payout was over $30.1 point

I have only crashed a few times, haven't really had any major issues like most people are having. Maybe I'm just lucky? 😛1 point

i always open chat panel when i open support ticket so they cannot tell these crapy solutions.1 point

@Moosh89 This is the kinda run around i have been getting for like 8 or 9 days now. The people answering for support have shown me by now they are clueless. What I can't decide is if as tech support they are not getting all the info they need or are all a bunch of lazy worthless tech support agents. If I screencapped my entire ticket it would get a laugh as well as a lot of head shaking. If you like tell them you talked to playstation. Because i did yesterday and playstation basically said if it is only happening with one game on your system then it is and issue red dead has, not the playstation. All they have done since I opened my ticket on May 17 is pass the buck. Not one time have they taken ownership and said they would look into any of this.1 point

I can't believe this BS... Here's my latest reply from this morning regarding CE-34878-0: Sooo, This dude wants me to contact PlayStation basically on behalf of Rockstar, essentially trying to pass the blame (famous action) and do their job BEFORE they investigate further? I'm going to write back and tell him that's not my job - but on the other hand I actually am curious of PlayStation will see this as ludicrous as me... I think it really depends on who you get as a representative too. I've had numerous issues but my biggest issue is in regards to Accessibility and I recall Vernon V. and Marques A. basically passing the blame onto me and Sony for not being able to use some features due to disability, then basically insulted me for using a modified controller lol.1 point

The person in charge of RD O really is the problem. All my love goes to the actual skilled game devs that brought this game to life, and I doubt the person in charge of RD O had anything to do with anything when it came to actual work.. in creating this game.1 point

How long something takes is subjective tho. Players could have to deal with other players attacking them... R* needs to stop punishing players for playing the game. If people want to 'spam' the easy missions, I don't get how this is a problem. Its already bad enough that you can't just play/host co-op missions or work for the same mission givers in free roam due to cool downs. Either way.. Its that kind of BS that leads to players cheating the system for more in game money.1 point

Personally I would not be happy with a rollback. Especially considering I’ve spent some gold on some things. I also don’t think waiting out a timer is a glitch in the same sense as duplicating carcasses. As for how the mission timers work, I’ve always thought it was backwards. It should pay out less the longer it takes you, and perhaps depending on the mission how much damage the canoe/rowboat/wagon or whatever took during your efforts.1 point

I like the idea of being able to enjoy a cigar and fine brandy from my inventory just like I would a bottle of whiskey from the bar or a beer from my camp. The one problem I see with this is from a combat point of view... though if you have the effects take place instantly , much like how the whiskey effects hit you before the first sip, you could always drop it after and go back to fighting. as for the bottle smash, I like the idea. Or chairs or lumber... anything else that could make a one or two time use improvised weapon. It would make brawls more fun. Though I already have a bad habit of accidentally strangling people. I imagine myself walking down the street and accidentally picking something up and busting it over some poor guys head for no reason...1 point

Right now, I just want them to fix the "CE" crashes I've been experiencing..... Personally, unless someone is using exploits against me in the game, I don't really care one way or the other if they get punished. As long as the glitches and exploits get fixed and the game works so I can play, I'm happy.1 point

I think Rockstar should fix the glitches. That being said, I will not let the cheaters impact my game. I will continue to grind to obtain the things I want in the game. Just because they cheat to get it doesn't impact my game. It isn't like they are getting a leg up on me by doing so.1 point

Once I noticed there was a @20 buy in, I got scared off. I'm not really one to gamble in real life either. 😄 I need to make some more money first and then I'll revisit the poker table. I've been away a while and have less than I realized. I like to maintain a balance threshold so I always have plenty of cash if I need it. .....funny how real life habits work their way into how I play games sometimes. 🤔1 point

I can’t even begin to guess how this happened. If we’re you, I’d be contacting Rockstar. They Might be able to restore you.0 points
