The Legendary Teca Gator should only be approached by the most bravehearted of Naturalists or hunters. Local fishermen have also recently reported a magnificent yet ill-tempered Legendary Sun Gator making its home in the murky, shallow waters of the Lannahechee River. Keep an eye out for this apex predator during foggy mornings to increase your chances of a successful sighting. Naturalists can study the scaly, cold-blooded creatures and bring samples back to Harriet to fill their Animal Field Guide and gain XP for the Naturalist Role. Choose to hunt and skin the gators and infamous trapper, Gus will gladly turn the resultant leather into a coat at his shop. Tracking gators is no small task, so to reward courage and resolve Legendary Alligator Samples and Skin Sales earn a 50% XP and pay out bonus through August 10th. Im actually enjoying this update.. Also the private lobby glitch and the free aim glitch, is just icing on the cake. The last few days, being able to be play free aim in public lobbies without threat of auto aim from other players, to me is a dream come true. Probably will get fixed, but i have my fingers crossed that it takes as long as it did to fix animals. The private lobby glitch just involves playing poker with a friend. Hosting a poker game, inviting a friend, then backing out the moment that friend gets a 'processing join' at the bottom of the screen. The free aim glitch... Well, i ain't tellin'. (Because i don't want it fixed)..lol But it basically forces me and anyone who tries to target me into using free aim since the lock on won't work. I know alot of people are going to get salty about this once more people figure out how to do it. But i won't notice if others players are using it, since i mostly use free aim. So for me, i love it either way. A little warning to players. I've seen many players now camping Gus looking to snatch Legendary skins. Especially in St Denis. Also the new Improved bow has nearly twice the range as the regular bow. Combined with dynamite arrows and PIB is extremely over powered.

Here's a Sharps with a period scope being shown by Iain McCallum. I would imagine a rifle like the Springfield Trapdoor would pose it's own challenges to mount a scope simply by it's design. However, the following video shows how some of these scopes worked including the recoil action which is interesting. .....which in turn could have possibly cleared the "trap door" to allow reloading. Either way, I'll wager a lot of these setups were custom involving work by talented gunsmiths like the one mention in this video. Some sort of offset rig could have also been implemented to allow reloading on a Springfield.

I'm with you, the new update is a joke. Those who have to complete everything will do it whether they enjoy it or not. Good luck to them. I already have the four best horses in the game. none of which are carthorses which are for carts or carrying knights with all their armour. I was already enjoying the game enough so a failed filler doesn't matter to me. With me an action is all about purpose and crazily grinding out an impossible chase trying to shoot a thousand tranqs. into a seemingly invulnerable animal has little fun/purpose value. For those concerned about nerfing and buffing, I'm not, I just take what comes and get on with it because why give yourself ulcers when every game is constantly being altered.
