  1. Making money in this game is very, very easy. As stated above on the beggining of the game players may become overwhelmed by the vastness of stuff to buy for Gold Bars and rdo$. The trick is not to fall for that. So yes, you need only two sets of outfits for weather conditions. First of focus on exping health, stamina, dead eye bars by fishing, hunting using bow, running etc. It will help you win confrontations with other players if that happens. 2nd Get a decent horse and better weapon. Then choose ability cards to exp and hunt hunt hunt - sell the goods to GUS. Do daily challenges to build the gold bar multiplier and keep the streak going even if you dont want to play - just log in for a min and do one daily. After you accumulate some more money develop the trader role. You can always collect items for madame nazar using the internet map or in game maps. Sell full collections not single items. You will have money in no time. I personally dont spend gold bars for outfits im fine with what i have since beta. I keep my gold bars for property update and other DLC's to come. If you want the details just ask.

  2. To me, other random players don’t make the game feel more alive. It’s the NPCs and random events. Most players I come across are either killing every NPC in town or are killing each other. I ran across a trio of players the other day and I tried to set up a boxing match in the mud in the Valentine pig pins. These players were instead content with throwing dynamite at each other outside the post office 😕

  3. Try it out. I was on my way to Nazar just north of Saint Denis yesterday and I had two moonshine events and a poachers event spawn before I ever got to her lol

  4. Actually, I haven't played in many months myself but if this limited player count is really a widespread "issue", I might just consider getting back into it this week.

  5. Hopefully our recent seven month lull in content has allowed them to catch up and we’ll start seeing more regular drops of content. If the leaks turn out to be true, that looks like it’s the case.

  6. No need to bet as they made that pretty clear when RDR2 released. Personal complaints/opinions aside, when RDO was rolled out it was done so as a beta and it was clear from the beginning that it would be a work in progress for a while. It was months after that the beta label was finally dropped albeit without any fanfare.

  7. I purchased the Advanced Camera and I'm very impressed with the camera and the period filters. The camera allows you to take photos in game with a wild west era touch. The camera is an expensive purchase but well worth it. Here's a photo of me and my horse using the tintype filter. From Wikipedia, tintype seen it's widest use during the 1860's and 1870's. Caught this photo with lightning using the silver gelatin filter or gelatin silver process. From Wikipedia, the gelatin silver process was first introduced in 1871. Here's another photo with lightning using the daguerreotype filter. From Wikipedia, the daguerreotype process was widely used during the 1840's and 1850's. Photo of Valentine using the carbon print filter. From Wikipedia, carbon print was invented in 1855. Photo of my horse using the woodburytype filter. From Wikipedia, the woodburytype was discovered in 1852 and patented in 1864.

  8. Fair play to you - I just use the camera to take really shoddy photos of legendary animals! 😁

  9. The most efficient way to do the moonshiner role is : 1. Do a story mission - choose the 3rd one on the boat. This mission is easy, takes about 12 to 15 mins and gives about 1,5k xp 2. Do a moonshiner mission and get back to moonshine shack. This action will reduce the mash cost to 10 RDO$ and deliver 2k xp. 3. Set up the moonshine - i only choose special moonshine when there is a daily mission for it. IMO its not worth to sacrifice a colectible for 20 rdo$ more on the shine. Its better to keep the colectible and deliver the sets to Madame Nazar. If you want to make the best mash everytime tho - choose the one with carribean rum - its the most common to find. 4. When delivering the mash use auto drive as u mentioned but controll the speed especially on bridge enterance or exit. For me slow trot works the best. Keep in mind that the wagon also auto drives when you press and hold aim. This way you can drive and shoot the agents without problems. After you deliver without breaking you get about 937 xp for the delivery of 2* shine. 5. Repeat the process. Overall moneywise its close to Trader but exp wise better than trader.
