Bug - horse gone. Not dead. Just gone.
YodaMan 3D replied to wanstronian's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
At one point my horse after 20 levels just disappeared. Had did a mission where another hopped on her and rode her in and got her killed. All I got after that was the stupid nag. Go to the stable and she was there, but it would let me use her. No signs that she was hurt and nothing for me to heal. Read online that players was learning the only way to fix this bug was to delete and restart. I know Rockstar has stated they was going to fix this, but apparently they are more concerned with adding PvP crap, then fixing issues that seem to affect the players. So far so good with the new horse, but the griefing be at low level really sucks. -
Need help, where are all the travelers, boats, and train ?
YodaMan 3D replied to Johnny Law's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
From Strawberry to Valentine, I found them along the road. It was a little disturbing, they look like they had been blown up. -
You really have experienced true marriage till you played the old, "What do you want for dinner" game. You ask your wife what would she like for dinner. She'll say I don't care. You make a suggestion and she'll respond with she doesn't want that. Then you point out she must care then. She'll be like I don't care, till you suggest something else. You can play this game all night. Then if someone ask what you had for dinner, she'll be like "nothing, he couldn't decide on what he wanted."

Doing the same mission this morning and a troll teammate just started tossing dynamite and kill us in the process. I am really hating that the answer to this problem is for me to quit or change server, cause some asshat is bored with his life.

So I started over online, kept getting stuck with with the stupid nag. Read online that, that even though Rockstar promised a fix, that a sure fire fix was started over. So I did and this morning I am out hunting and find myself alone by Blackwater, then a play spawns in, and then another and so forth. Eventually, there ends up being about 6 to 8 players, all hunting and ignoring each other. Then Poof! some jackass spawns in and immediately starts running through and scaring off the animals. Still not actually working together. We adjust and move and this jackass rides up and kills a player and then another. Soon as he starts shooting at me, I shoot back and send him to the morgue cause apparently riding away didn't suit him at all when the others did it. Killing only ticked him off, cause then he kept coming after me, regardless of how many times I killed him. So eventually, I just let it happen and he killed me while I was in the menu. When 6 to 8 players are ignoring you, that doesn't mean, "Hey Jackass, come screw with us." What is wrong with these players?

Actually, lost me for a bit cause of the griefing. Came back only because my son wanted to play it and wanted someone to roll with. Then we realized the best money jobs was based on griefing PvP. We still play on occasion. I did just enough to unlock about all of the businesses.

Longevity really depends on whether or not they can keep a player interested. If they focus just PvP players, PvE players get shafted and move on. Companies really need to focus on the entire playerbase instead of here or there crap.

Glad to know as the game is waiting on life support for you and some others. The best plan you got, is to ruin the fun for others. That should kill it if Rockstar doesn't react fact enough.

PvP doesn't have to be toxic, many players make it so. Many of players would have grabbed the pelt or found some way to added a little extra kick in the nards after the fact.

New mode sounds like nothing new. Didn't they have that in GTA online. Except on GTA you parachuted in an fought in an decreasing map till only one survived? Sorry Rockstar, and for what they was talking about new PvE content. Sounds like they are focusing on PvP players and making it a priority. If we follow the GTA model, before long they will have forgotten all about the PvE players and everything will be PvP.

The Law/Bounty systems are SEVERELY FLAWED
YodaMan 3D replied to Lucixir's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I wear the white hat. So i don't think so. Funny thing is my son is also playing and it's funny how his experiences are so much different then mine. -

Upto the point where now, NPCs seem to dive to get into your way. Which isn't a good change. It isn't really meant as a challenge, when at some point you aren't given an option. The other day riding, I veered off of the path to avoid running into NPCs and they deliberately rode over to get in my way, which got me a wanted level. -
Why would you or do you lower the camp flag??
YodaMan 3D replied to Major Dammidge's question in Questions & Answers
Only reason to lower your flag is to invite PvP players that chance at PvP. AKA, probably why you won't ever get attacked in camp. Seriously though, when players say they got attacked in their camp. 1st thing I think of is whether or not their flag was raised or not. -
Except fishing and hunting, I have been having lots of issues.

It's funny, sense playing I have collected 3 out of 6 treasure maps from gang hideouts. Talking with a friend and his response was that was phenomenal. Now I can't get one to save my life. Probably won't ever see one again.

There has been cases of players run to their camp with flag raised that have been killed during an assignations

Weird part is I was close for the 1st activation, but the 2nd time I went outside and rode a little ways away. I was hoping to get a jumpstart to the mission. It didn't start either time.

I have friends who love PvP and have those who prefer PvE and I personally like both. It really depends on my mood when I sign in. Now the problem being is that often in a PvEvP. You really can't get the 2 sides to agree on what is acceptable. Yet in debates where a PvE zone is requested. Some PvP players really get twisted and offended, like you just kicked their cat or their dog. To me it's not personal and can usually see the option being viable. Yet its does start arguments.

Last night I was able to join up with another player from these forums. Twice, being the leader of the Posse, he started a mission and nothing happened. It just didn't start. Now I have played where there has been a delay and players was half-way to the starting point before it kicked in, but these never started. Why is this happening and have others of you experienced this?

What about Abigail? I only ask because in RDR, rumors was the girls in Dutch' s gang was prostitutes and their was questions about if John was Jack's father. There was one point where Abigail feels it very important that Arthur spends time with Jack. Shortly there after it points out how John and Abigail had been on a break for a bit. I only bring this up cause in the end when you are playing as John, I just happen to notice the similarities between Arthur and John. I also noticed that it seems very important to John to be a lot like Arthur. Then again, to a certain point my thoughts was that Arthur seems kinder to the ladies at camp. Especially Ms. Grimshaw, so to a point all seemed to kind a little bit of a shine to Arthur. Sadie most likely, but it could have been anyone. Including Charlotte, cause for only a few missions. Seemed like she had a shine for the old man too.

So a friend told me about a forum he was on. Now anytime a game allows PvEvP, PvE players often feel griefed and PvP players get offended by the request from PvE players asking for a PvE only freeroam. Now I tried to explain from experiences and debates on the subjest, but curious. Does it offend you as a PvP player that others want a PvE only or private servers?
