I've played only a little bit of RDO. I've experimented a little bit with randomly shooting other players. It's beta after all. I haven't experienced anything I would consider as griefing or harassment in this game. I have had to deal with other players shooting and killing me, while I try to complete a mission: escorting wagons, mail delivery, hideout clearing. And I've done the same trying to kill other players when they were trying to complete a mission. For now, that's my mission to do so. What do I consider as harassment? In Overwatch, it can occur in a couple of forms. In voice chat, this can occur when a teammate is being a jerk and saying you are trash. Repeatedly, without any constructive suggestions on how to change things up for your team. This can also occur with in-game text chat, during the match for the PC version. From both your team and the opposing team. The worst is when people start sending you PSN messages calling you names and being complete assholes. I've gotten so angry when this has happened to me in the past, that I wanted to hulk smash things. Most of my gaming in Overwatch this does not happen. But it is likely to happen a few times during a gaming session, over the course of multiple matches. Also, this seems more likely to happen in a competitive match, where your rank score is on the line. If your team is losing, then someone can blame a scapegoat. You can mute that player, mute there text chat, disable team chat, and on PS4 change your privacy settings to not allow for messages from people you aren't friends with. Perhaps another solution would be to offer different server types; PVP, PVE, Roleplay, 2 sides Lawmen VS Outlaw, etc.

I played Online last night on PS4. It's been a few days since last time I played. On foot, it seemed the same. My horse seemed a little different. But I had also adjusted some of the control/camera settings.

I've spent some time in the single-player game fishing. It took me some time to get the hang of it. This basic guide may help. I have had some difficult fish where it took a long time of fighting with them to eventually reel them in. I just learned a tip @1:12 "when the controller is rumbling, you'll need to move the left joystick back and forth to tire the fish out". I'll have to try that out. I've not had a line break while waiting for my controller to stop rumbling. That could be a bug.

Hi, Is there a way to change my level 10 RDO's character model and sex? I've read I can change my hair, facial hair, and teeth. But not anything else. When I started the RDO BETA, I made a character figuring I'd be able to change things later. But so far, there does not seem to be a way to do this. Other than deleting my character and starting over. I don't know if GTAV allowed this or not.

In the single player game, you can buy recipes/blueprints for different arrows from a Fence. I bought mine from the Fence in Rhodes. Those required various unlocks to be able to be able to do. I'm not sure if that is the same for the online version. It may be rank dependent.

I had this one random encounter in the woods with someone calling for help. He was in really bad shape. He was asking for booze. I had the choice to give him medicine or booze. I gave him medicine. He said "It's too late for that.". He then died.

It was working normally for me in RDO last night. I skinned around 7 animals. In single player, it can be inconsistent. From it taking some time and showing all the animation. To it being practically instant and not showing anything. Usually, it takes some time to do it.

Bow fishing may also work. I tried that in the single-player game.

I've seen this occur in the gun shop at Rhodes. I assume it's intentional so players can shop at the store in peace.

You trying to be honorable might not be that big of an issue. I eventually maxed out my honor all the way to being maximum honorable recently. Got the trophy for it. The trophy is earned by maximizing it either as honorable or dishonorable. This was around the beginning of Chapter 6. I've mostly been playing the good guy. But occasionally will do bad guy stuff. Especially when I was working on some of the Bandit Challenges. There are also many other random things in game that allow you to raise your honor rating. Unless you are trying to do it by a certain time, I wouldn't worry about it.

It was in Valentine. I was wandering around the town at night and saw 2 guys hanging out by a window of one of the buildings. This building is located ... As I approached I could hear them talking. Then they got scared off by me and ran away. I was able to watch things for a short time before they spotted me and closed the curtains.

Good to know. Coincidently I was up in the same area last night doing a side mission and ran into a normal moose by the water and train tracks.

For RDO, you can use gold to buy things regardless of rank. So you can get it early. I assume you can use micro transactions to purchase gold. It's unknown what that will cost. R* said they will be adjusting the RDO economy. I hope to making earning gold easier. I too have spent too much money on various free phone game. Damn you CandyCrush! I'm hoping it doesn't become pay to win. We shall see.

Another possible reason for reduced performance is if your console, or other devices on your home network, are doing other things while playing the game. For me, I've had this happen many times while playing Overwatch on my PS4. I'll be in a hurry to get on and start playing in a match. Normally my connection averages around 25ms for latency in an OW match on PS4. I'm using a wired LAN to my Cable TV internet connection. Which is really good. I'll hastily hop on, and get in a match, but then notice really bad frame drops or stalls and terrible lag! What's causing this for me? One of two things are. 1 - The PS4 I'm playing on is downloading a patch for one of my other games. 2 - My PC is downloading a game, or patch from STEAM, on my home network. 3 - My internet connection is unusually slow for reasons outside of my home network. Doing an internet speed test will show that. In the above examples, I've seen my latency in PS4 OW spike up on average to around 250ms+ or higher. I wanna say maybe as high as 750ms. Turning off STEAM, and/or pausing my PS4's download usually fixes things for the first 2 examples. #3 usually fixes itself within a while. Though sometimes it's not until the next day. If you are having unusually poor game performance try checking those things out.

Open satchel gives me access to the various food items I've cooked. Many good food items to replenish Health/Stamina/Deadeye. Though it takes a few seconds to open my satchel. So I assume it's not doable during a shootout. Maybe if I was hiding behind cover. I don't think I have access to these crafted food items in the instant radial menu.

Was he showing up on your map, or radar, for a mission? Some of the side/character missions only show up during certain times of the day in the game. Generally, I've noticed during daytime hours more are available. Then when it starts to get dark out, they disappear, as if they went home for the night. If he was showing up on your map, or radar, but you couldn't find him then try these 2 things: 1 - check that he's on the same level as you. Like he's not on the 2nd story of a building, and you are on the ground floor. I think there has been at least one mission where I had to go upstairs to continue it. And not be on the floor underneath. This was mid-mission. But, maybe it might apply for the start of a mission. 2 - save your game, close the game, restart and reload your game. That usually seems to fix any bugginess the game is doing.

I was out exploring a new area of the map for me. I was in the ... I stumbled upon the Legendary Moose area. I was able to get it. And craft a trinket. And I think I was able to also upgrade my camp with its antlers. I'll have to check on that.

I've acquired one of these horses too. I got it during the ... After all that it remained with me at camp. I wondered what's wrong with their appearance too. It looks sick or mistreated. However, it seems to be a normal functioning horse. But it does look the style of those creepy Murfree Brood. They don't clean up too well do they?

Here are 4 screenshots from my first couple of weeks playing. There were all originally saved through PS4's Share function to my FB. Then I DL'd my FB images and uploaded them here. I don't know how much image degradation is occurring, if any, from doing the above. I forget which file formats were used. The last 2 compare a non HDR screenshot (3rd picture) and a HDR screenshot (4th pitcture). The comparison between the 2 looks pretty close to how it looks on my HDR TV. RDR2 has a known issue with it not properly displaying HDR content on the PS4/PS4PRO. I imagine it will be fixed in a future patch. But all these images look about the same, or close, to how they look on my TV. Furthermore, I don't know if you can take a proper screenshot of a HDR image. For since it's a 10 bit image, then the SS is going to need to be 10 bit too. And you'll need a 10 bit panel to be able to see it correctly.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst. I'm planning on a character wipe. So if that happens, then I won't be disappointed with having to start over in RDO. The beta RDO has been productive with learning how things work in it. What's the same with single player, and what's different. Does my control configuration work well against other players? Do I want to change it? That sort of thing.

I wonder if it spawns a side quest to be a debt collector against these debtors?
