Is this the best RDR2 player right now?
madfretter replied to The ViceCity's topic in Red Dead Online
Thats sucks, never had that happen to me. I only bought the game because of the promised story mode. ONline was fun for like 2 days. -
Gps and radar track didn't exist until 1973, but yet here we are.... lmao.

I don't know what you're talking about. Friday the 13th is the pinnacle, the absolute top peak of gaming design. From the monotonous online game play to the STILL missing story mode, the best ever...lol -

I usually avoid it. But it just annoys me to see an npc do this because I know it's only there to slow me down. -

I'm surprised they haven't added an option for us to bribe a witness.... I mean... we can buy gold! lol -
All of this won't be an issue once I unlock dynamite arrows........lol

you can stand down.... just don't click the disband feature in the setting menu... That will make you delete your posse and waster 200 bucks

Acutally, yes to this... And how about a bayonet on the end of my Carcano...lol

Be glad Wildcard didn't make this game. If they did, you'd fall through the map after diving and be able to shoot people on surface world. -

That seems like a fair solution. Last thing I want is auto aim users running around with Mauser pistols they got with XP from headshots they didn't actually aim for ...lol -

They could just make auto aim kills count for less xp...lol -

AUto aim isn't top of my list for wants currently. What I want most is the location of your shot to count for more than just a number. If someone shoots you in the leg 3 times you die, like a headshot. In real life you won't die immediately from a leg shot, the game should be the same way. force the player to the ground, but they can still shoot or choose to die. This will force people either aim for kill shots or to go up an finish the job so they don't forfeit xp. -

I think the problem isn't casual gamers with weak skills using auto aim, it's people who play all the time and use it to give them a distinct advantage. I don't think that being able to lock onto a persons head, every time, while looking backwards and riding a horse at top speed is accurate. -

The level of personal reward should be lower for having the game do most of the work for you. I mean, if the mini map tells you where to find people and the game aims the gun for you... What exactly is left to feel rewarded for doing?... Horse riding and trigger pulling? I want to earn my rewards, the hard way. I don't want participation trophies. -

Exactly. Shooting a guy in the foot so he falls out of cover for the kill shot is rewarding and realistic. Watching a guy do burpees while you are trying to shoot him is not. I'd also like to see shots do more than take off health. For example, if I shoot a guy in the foot, he shouldn't be able to move as quickly until it heals. -
M1894 pistol. 5 round strip loaded pistol. Fire rate was supposed to be pretty quick,

I never use dead eye, maybe I'll give that a shot..

I'm not a fan of auto aim and wish they would remove it. Shooting them as soon as they hit the ground doesn't always work. The hit box changes shape and also has a brief second to make the change. So, depending when/where you shoot, the box may not even be there

Yup. It need to get fixed. -
Repeated diving causes a constant re-positioning of the hit box which when combined with an online game can/will cause inaccuracies in player targeting. So where you shoot isn't always where the game gives you credit for. Plus, it just looks stupid and it's a really cheesy way to play.

I don't mind the free xp, but when I'm riding across the map for a challenge or to hit a hideout, the delay is not welcome. -

Yea, this is just plain dumb. It wasn't as annoying in GTA because you didn't get wanted, you'd just spin out. -
You're riding down the road and for no reason, WHAM, an NPC character swerves over a good 2 feet into your way. You fall off your horse and if this happens near witnesses, you're wanted. Another example of R* adding mechanics just to cause conflict. This is completely unrealistic and takes away from the games immersion. I get maybe a few NPC outlaws doing this to antagonize you, but every single one? Lame. Also, this makes the cinematic mode utterly useless as you most always will crash and be knocked out of it. This was stupidly annoying in GTA and it is equally as frustrating in RDR2. Make the NPCs harder and stop making the game irritating with additions like this.
-
I get the diving, but when it's like 6 times in a row, it's cheesy. The dive should cause a health loss, since after all, you are diving on solid dirt and stone most of the time. Then, it would offset the legshot that your perfectly lined up headshot turned into.

What ONE thing do you think will help online the most?
madfretter replied to madfretter's topic in Red Dead Online
Exactly. They could, i dunno.... make the npcs an actual challenge...lol
