I think they are trying to give the PVPrs something else to do beside kill people in free roam. A little grief relief until they add the other stuff.

I kinda hope R* only adds passive mode, private lobbies and nothing else until this dude finds himself a new game. Is it just me? lol

No, I put that I thought they were cheating in my submission. The response read very much like a template. I didn't even think to respond,. I was pretty annoyed with the blow off email. I will check later though.

Well that's something you and R* have in common then..lol. It actually happened a day ago, prior to the update. Sadly, I haven't played since the update.

Could be, but it seems off to me. This was the only parlay that did it that day and it didn't happen until the guy was right on top of us. Meaning he walked over to my friend and the parlay ending right before he shot him and then he walked over to me and did the same thing. Maybe a router swtich or nat type test to break the parlay.

Had something weird happen with the parlay system. We were getting trolled and got bored of trolling back so we started a parlay and went about our business. About a minute later my friend got a message saying the parlay had ended and the player shot him. Just after that I got the same message that the parlay ended and he came after me too, I shot him though. Parlay lasts 10 minutes right? Anyone else seen this? I reported this to R* and Xbox for hacking.

Make sure you report them to Xbox thru their gamercard as well. That will prevent you from being put into lobbies with them in most cases.

Oh, I know what this is! You've been able to sustain world peace because you have one night a year where you all run around robbing and murdering each other without consequence. I've been to a few planets with the same gimmick. You know, sometimes it's called the cleansing or the red time. There was this one world that called it just murder night. it's a purge. They're peaceful, and then, you know, they just purge.

Ammo is cheap and there alot more players out there to kill than birds. But, you are correct, they only do this because there isn't a penalty for it. If they made use of the honor system this wouldn't be an issue.

Depends on how it's Phrased. This should get a rise..lol... Trolls can get xp for trolling you and then use that XP to unlock ability cards and weapons to troll you harder while you are trying to complete missions for full cash value.

Yup and will continue to cause arguments just like taking a pacifier away from a 1 year old would. True PVP players want a challenge. The people complaining about PVE/private lobbies want fish in a barrel.

Because they can't grief them in private lobbies. lol.. Seriously though, the only people complaining about this are trolls. Regular PVP players don't care about private lobbies. Sorry, had to....lol

I'm totally ok with and agree with the missions paying less if they are completed in PVE/Private lobbies. But let's be real, shouldn't XP gains for shooting people that are not playing PVP be less as well? This is easy to monitor, XP only starts once both parties have fired on each other. Because if we're nerfing money on private lobby missions because it's less risk then we should definitely be nerfing XP for PVPrs that shoot people who are less of a risk because they aren't shooting back.

Same excuse every time from most of them: "PVE servers will ruin the game." I'd like to amend that vague statement to: "PVE servers will ruin the game for me because I prefer to shoot people who aren't prepared or have zero interest in shooting back." That about sums it up. PVE lobbies won't ruin this game anymore than having a story mode did. It's just a different section for a different way to play the game. The only thing that will change for the PVP community is that they will now be forced to play in lobbies with people who are looking to shoot them first.

Day one, off and on between RDR and GTA, level 22. No XP grinding and almost zero PVP. I just wanna hunt, lol.

Yea, not really joking, that pretty much describes the trolls on RDR. And you are 100% correct, some people can't PVP and that's why we need private lobbies with more NPCS in them. We were hunting last night and came up on a hideout, so we cleared it. As we were looting, someone shoots us and then runs off, doesn't even bother to loot the bodies because they did it just to be a tool. Because of their toolness? we lost our pelts. They left the lobby, so I followed them into new lobbies and tormented them until they logged off. I just want to hunt and fish in peace.

Yea... and did you notice that they only let you buy the ones you most likely don't want early with gold...lol
