It would be ruined because the option to shoot people in the back while they are fishing, hunting and exploring wouldn't be there. Everyone knows it's no fun to shoot people who are prepared for a fight and looking to do the same thing to you....lol

I tried this out. The shorter time to sight was noticeable, but I found myself burning through ammo. I'll stick with my litch for big maps and duel wield sawed off/schoefield for close 1/4's

What I get from this is that they only plan to reset if some crazy money glitches come out. That being said, GTA had some INSANE money glitches for the first year(s) and they just targeted individual accounts for the offenses. R* has pretty stellar software when it comes to tracking purchases and money down to the smallest details. The sale of gold will def play a big part in their decision to reset. We shall see.

Everyone is different. Me, I'm in this game for the long haul unless they do something to screw it up like robbing gold bars from players or excluding private lobbies.

The reset would be ok by me as long as they refunded the gold bars. We received them for participating in the beta, that shouldn't be taken away.

I'd say wait until after you beat the game to use them. Then, once you've earned a proper ending, let the cheats flow...lol

All signs are pointing to another undead nightmare. I'd only want this because it will probably unlock a new area on the map for us in online, like Mexico.

R* use the law system to keep us on our toes, these is literally no sense to the way it operates. LIke in GTA when you are wanted for robbing a store and they cops shoot on sight.

The gold system would pose a problem for them, for sure. It should be standard that once a game collects money outside the purchase of the BETA (in game purchase, maps, expansions) that the game is no longer considered a beta and progress cannot be reset. You know there's people out there that spent 100's on gold bars, I don't see things going well if that gets wiped. They would have to give those people the same amount of gold bars to use after the wipe.

Ark was in BETA for 2 years, but I doubt R* would do this. I think they are just making sure they have enough server to run GTA and RDR. Once that clears, beta will end.

I'm not understanding this. Why would R* post on Twitter to tell us that we can do something that has been available since launch?

At this point, since they started selling gold in game, they would get some serious backlash if they reset. It won't happen.

At first I thought maybe this is in the game to cause conflicts since theres not a whole lot in the game yet.... But then I remember that it's still in GTA 5 years later... 8/

I think the crossbow is pretty much a definite. The menu in the catalog says "bows". SO they're intending on adding more and there aren't too many options besides a crossbow for this time frame.

Yup, that's exactly when it happens. I do the same, ride in the dirt and let them have the road. It just really annoys me that R* intentionally put this in the game, it's childish...lol

I haven't had to leave the lobby, thankfully. Try hopping on another horse and see if that helps. I haven't had it happen when I'm online by myself, so no clue how to fix it then. Maybe call a second horse through the posse menu?

Happens at random, but sometimes I can't call my horse. The range doesn't matter. The only fix I've found is to mount a friends horse and then I can whistle again.
