  1. Taking a break in camp after a busy day
  2. Some people don't realize and it took myself quite a few days as well: If you have a permanent posse, you need to remove people from it in order to be able to invite new ones. There is no warning or error message about it. It sends out the invite but nothing works. Same with you being member in multiple posses. You need to leave them in order to join new ones. Stupid!
  3. The whole session thing seems strongly depending on matchmaking based on your honor. At least according to observations we had within our (Socialclub) crew, which is a pretty organized one. Some of us where honorable and others dishonorable. Let's say you join a session with 100% honor. It is highly likely that 4 out of 6 active posses are honorable unlike to joining with low honor where it might be that 6 out of 6 are dishonorable. When joining a pretty honorable session, you'll end up with people greeting you, sending invites to posses and such. When joining to dishonorable session, you'll end up being shot in allot of instances.
  4. The moment, when you'll join the private lobbies, just to find out that all butchers are on vacation.
  5. We are an established group from GTA that has been created back in January 2017. We are focused on team oriented gameplay to help each other to get missions done. We are still playing GTA together but moved on into RDR2 Online. We team up for: Rotate for hunting to fill up each others trading business Supply missions Protecting each others long distance sale missions Share collectors locations Bounties & Legendary Bounties Events We are still looking for new members who would don't enjoy hostility in online games and want to team up. If you're interested, please sign up We use Discord game chat for in game communication and expect every member to join in there as well. 12/5/20 (MODERATOR NOTE): OP hasn't come back to visit this site since around the time this thread was opened and / or for the last couple of months. Closing as a result for the sake of other members looking for active groups.
  6. I don't understand the honor system in online at all. I am almost always at 100% honor. It was much different in story mode. What missions are you referring to?
  7. Well, we are an established crew on Socialclub that existed already for GTA 5 and moved on to RDR. Sure it's more then 7 members but then it's a limit that was introduced by Rockstar to RDR2. Socialclub crews contain more then 7 people and we play with mixed posses in RDR together. If you're interested: https://fpgl-crew.org
  8. The FPGL Posse
  9. Somehow i can't support much of what you said here. I really like the game and the more i play it, the more i like it. There are quite a few things, missing from GTA that i never liked in the first place. Radar in GTA, you see all players in radar no matter how far away they are. In RDR you only see those who are near by. I really like this feature Notifications about activities of other players In GTA, you see everything. A player starts a mission, you get a request to destroy it. 2 players killing each other in Paleto Bay, you'll get notified. In RDR, you only notice stuff that is actually near by. If you're far off everyone else, it feels like you're in a session of your own Economy In GTA Online, if you played the game for some time and own like CEO / MC and especially a Nightclub, you are done. Money is rolling in almost automatically. The prices on RDR might be high but it's actually keeping me having goals to grind for. Business In GTA, you have businesses that run basically on their own. The Nightclub was topping everything. It's basically a money making machine without any effort. In RDR there is a business included that is not so obvious at first: Hunting! So you need actually do something in order to get money. I can only hope that any upcoming DLC stays on this path. Levels / Ranks There were levels in GTA as well. They might not be needed but why have levels at all if there is nothing to gain from them Game does not fit a single player type So what? Did GTA do this? Was GTA PvP only? I like some PvP elements here and there but i also don't like to play it all day. If i wanna have a plain shooter, i would play Battlefield or something like that. It's awesome to be able to have something relaxing like fishing or hunting and have some PvP in between. I don't even mind someone killing me while doing something once in a while but i wouldn't miss anyone in RDR that is only there for the kills. Actually, these kind of players were getting on my nerves big time in GTA. You tried to sell a bunker in GTA, you'll see a kid in jet or Oppressor stopping by, blowing everything up and be gone. I don't miss this at all. These kids should stay in GTA. RDR2 has not fallen between stools. Instead it just gives you both of them for those who enjoy both sides but not one all day.
  10. If you're in a wrong part of the map, just go to the online menu and select the area you want to spawn in to. It will then load you to another session where you will end up in that part.
  11. I tried to get Colter to spawn for me and a friend. Didn't work. We've been there for a full in game day without any luck.
  12. Thanks, i'll check that.
  13. I might have missed it but what's the benefit of having weight and where does it even show up?
  14. You know that there is an option for it already? Go to Options -> Settings -> Display -> Online Overhead You will have 3 options there.
  15. I would love to see the bounty system to be like in story mode. Lots of $ on your head if you go on a rampage.
  16. Adding the platform might help for others to figure if you're fitting theirs.
  17. The reason, i have a good and large group to play with is because i am part of an established grind crew from GTA that is expanding to RDR. If you have a number of team oriented players at hand with the ability to get missions done instead of randomly messing up, finding people for a permanent posse is actually easy.
  18. The permanent posse is like CEO / MC in GTA. Basically just without a business or office. You can stand down as a leader and join anyone else. There is a bug currently that drove me kinda mad and almost made me feel bad for paying those $200 for it. If you start the permanent posse, it might happen that it only shows 4 members. In order to be able to add 7, i had to expand my camp to large (this is only the first step) and then jump to a new session with my active posse (having members or not) to a new session. There will be a new option in online menu to do so. Once you end up in this new session with a large camp, it should be possible to have 7 members. A friend of mine had the same problem.
  19. So far, i do like the game allot. I wish they would have left the bounty system like it is in story mode, where you have to pay $ dollars to get rid of it and have real bounty hunters coming after you, if it gets to high. So griefing would have been sanctioned to some extend. On the other hand, i really like that the game does favor those who organize themselves in groups. I really like team play and i am even running a crew for it. It's pretty much the same situation as it is with GTA. You could play on your own and deal with the issues or join a large group dedicated to help and protect each other. As a member of such a group, we are riding around with up to 7 and even go hunting like that. The benefits that come from it is that you can hunt or run missions rather peacefully as most other players avoid large groups.
  20. Is it possible to create something like that? I don't even see an option to create a playlist.
