How do you get to the final missions?
Vaderspupil replied to DLKnives's question in Questions & Answers
Shooting up St. Denis will drop your honor in a heartbeat. -
I tried to name my posse the Hell Brigade, but it didn't accept "Hell" even though one of the teams in the showdown series is named the Hell Hounds.๐คจ

Like I said, you can be a posse leader and be a member of multiple other posses. If you as a leader want to hop over to another posse that's active, just stand down(NOT DISBAND, stand down deactivates, disband deletes) your posse and join theirs if you are already a member or wait for an invite if you aren't. Also, keep in mind that in addition to having up to 4 active members for a small camp/temporary posse and up to 7 for a large camp/persistent posse, there's a limit to the total number of invitations a leader can send out. I think it's around 11. When you hit that limit, you have to delete somebody to send out another invite.
-
No. The posse is not active when the leader is not online. You or the other posse members have to form your own persistent or temporary posse. Posse leaders can delete members to make room for new ones should they wish. You can be a member of multiple posses at the same time, just being active in one at a time.

Patching away this "throwing on the ground"-movement?
Vaderspupil replied to Hypnoskully's topic in Red Dead Online
The only time I flop around like a fish is when I'm taking on fire and I don't where it's coming from. I'll try to do that until I can get to some cover and assess where the threat is. -
I hear you. I like to craft, so I'm trying to get all the pamphlets in addition to the ability cards and upgrading my camp tent. Plus I just bought the Carcano sniper rifle. I spend my money as fast as I make it.

I never go into RDR2 without party chat being on.

My preferred hunting grounds are along the train tracks up the coast from St. Denis to Brandywine Drop. In the marshland north of St. Denis, there are gators for big game meat(10=$7.50), herons, spoonbills and pelicans for feathers(10=$12-$19.50) and carcass($3.25-$4.00 for perfect), muskrats($4.00 for a perfect carcass, $1.95 for perfect pelt). North of the marshlands as you head towards Annsburg, deer and rabbits are plentiful($7.00 for perfect deer carcass, $3.50 for perfect rabbit carcass, $2.25 and $1.15 for perfect pelts respectively). If you're lucky enough to spot a perfect buck that's $10 for the carcass and $3.25 for the pelt plus $1.05 for antlers. North of Annsburg is where the big boys hunt. It's cougar country where a perfect cougar carcass is worth $13.50, a good one is over $8 and even poor one is worth $5. A pelt is worth $2-5. Finally as I head back to St. Denis( unfortunately the closest butcher), I stop along the Kamassa river for some salmon fishing(10=$25). It's noth the fastest hunting trip but it's worth it for the haul.

I hate to say it but I think showdown series are the fastest way to gain money and xp. If you're opposed to that, then hunting and fishing is the way to go. Deer and rabbits are plentiful and bagging a 3* deer carcass is worth $7($10 for a buck) plus the money you get for their pelts. 2 rabbit carcasses add up to $7 as well.as for fish, most are worth $1 apiece. You can hold up to 10, so that' $10 for 10 of 1 species. Trout and salmon are worth $2.50 apiece, or $25 for a full load. Around the coast north of St. Denis and around the boardwalks in the swamps you can find herons, spoonbills and pelicans and a full load of their plumes will net you around $15. While you're there, kill any gators you see. A full load of big game meat will give you $7.50.

Griefing: Wasn't thinking about different methods.
Vaderspupil replied to YodaMan 3D's topic in Red Dead Online
I'd have blown that guy away and left. -
Bought gold with the one time gold offer and with it, bought a sheepskin coat, wool shirt, buck skin pants, moccasin boots and a cutter hat. I was already wearing a buck skin vest. When I saved this custom outfit, it said it was suitable for cold weather.

Rode past an NPC last night who was strumming Away in a Manger on his guitar.
-
If anything he should have been hogtied and delivered to a mental institution.
-
It could very well have been. I couldn't seem to lasso him.
-
I hate Micah with a passion right from the start of the game when he went after Sadie. I felt pity for that shop owner given how he lost his own son in such a tragic way. Doesn't excuse what he did, but I did spare him. I also hate Miss Grimshaw. She's a bitch!
-
Yes! I would love to sell my carbine repeater and cattleman revolver.

I'm a big Darth Vader fan.๐

I usually only look at my catalog inside of a post office. You're protected from griefers and anything you buy is right there to be picked up.
-
The hideouts spawn all the time for me. The treasure maps in the hideouts though is a completely different story!๐

Found out last night that your camp may keep you safe from being shot, but it won't protect you from being lassoed and hogtied. I was crafting at my campfire when an asshole did that to me from behind and I couldn't shoot him due to us being in camp. He did accidentally step in my campfire once and lit himself on fire. That was amusing and I did manage to bait him out of the camp and shoot him in the head, but he still wouldn't leave me alone, so I ended up changing lobbies.

Has anyone broken a line while fishing online?
Vaderspupil replied to Abysstic's question in Questions & Answers
Watch out for trees and rocks near the shore. If a hooked fish takes the line around those, it can break it. Or, at least get the fish loose. I haven't lost a lure yet when that has happened. -
You can set it to neutral for a few gold, but you can't go from one extreme to the other.
-
It's funny because I go by the name Vaderspupil because I'm a big Darth Vader fan, yet I prefer playing as the good guy in any roleplaying type games. For the most part, I treat others in game how I treat them in real life. I treat them how I want to be treated in return. However, if you're an asshole to me, I'll be an asshole right back.

A less easily spooked horse would come in handy for me since I like to hunt cougar. Whenever I'm in cougar country, I have to go real slow and spam eagle eye while looking all around me. If I don't see the cougar until it's close enough to spook my horse and throw me, I'm usually forced to throw it off me and shoot wildly at it in self defense, damaging the kill.
