  1. Please post pics for our viewing and salivating pleasure when you can, kthnx.
  2. Some people's characters look a bit different depending on the muscle build. Also it affects how fast your horse can run and drains its stamina faster I believe.
  3. I personally only worry about the rings rather than the core while in a big gun fight cuz you could easily die as soon as you eat something. I am curious as to if using tonics is like eating/drinking. Also resting in camp helps too if you don't want to eat to fill the core but need it filled.
  4. If all I have is the Lichfield, should I get the Evans? Would it be a noticeable upgrade to the Litchfield?
  5. The hell they put in a crap weapon and make it more expensive. Like is it still worse even upgraded? I'd think so if the upgrades give the same boost regardless of base stats.
  6. It was honestly my attempt at trying not to be harsh/rude. I'm not as much of an asshole as people might think. I'm just not great with wording. 🤐
  7. If they didn't want to be part of it then glitch off the map like you've mentioned or leave. Most of the time the people run or on occasion stand their ground. I meant adversary when I am the one being targeted, or when the target fights back instead of running. Again, it's a free... "free" roam pvp game. This isn't fortnite or overwatch. If I or you wanted that kind of structured mutual pvp you would play those types of games. If all you wanted was to hunt and fish, then single player is there. The challenge is catching them. Knowledge of the map, controlling your horse, whatever else. The mission gives the target a headstart even.
  8. You think it's better than Lancaster and Litchfield? I know everyone loves the Lancaster, I can't remember the stats on it tho. But those 26 rounds, mmmph.
  9. Pics or it didn't happen. Come on cough up a screenshot, I'm at work! Lol.
  10. I don't know why people expect a ton of money being generated by a "beta" game that's only 3 -4 months old.
  11. I find it so because people seem terrified of pixel death. You don't lose anything unless you have any pelts on your horse, I don't see the problem in the assassination itself. And I find it a good challenge, the thrill of the hunt or chase. The joys of working together with friends to overcome an adversary. Had a posse assassination yesterday, 4 of us vs 4 of them. They stood their ground and it was great. After it was over we went about our way. Griefing to me isn't being killed. It's being followed around and literally kept from playing the game at all. I would lump back shooting in as griefing, but more just people being cowardly.
  12. By following the red glow or looking on the actual map. That's what my posse leader will do is stand and direct us since we can't pinpoint you on the mini map. And I feel it's rather... unsavory all the people I see glitching off the map so they can't be hit. As far as why you get targeted, it's random person who's closest. Doesn't matter your honor or bounty. If it did that'd be nice, but as it isn't oh well. Again it's not really griefing if it's a mechanic of the game. You play knowing there's free roam pvp. Not everyone likes structured pvp.
  13. Must have some bad luck cuz I always see over 24 in a session.
  14. I mean I still get $10 for a buck so long as I don't skin it. Same with every other animal minus exotic birds with their reduced feather drop rate. They *fixed* it so that we aren't getting extra for a bare animal. I mean would you buy a whole working car for $10k or buy all the pieces of the same car for $15k?
  15. I personally love a good chase. Hunt and be hunted. I go all terminator mode every time, and I find it very enjoyable. Especially if I'm in a posse and we are working together really well, beautiful.
  16. Oh I know it's been the other way around, I'm just talking from personal experience. I've never died to an assassination so I can't say what people do sorta. Except that they do sometimes try to kill me BECAUSE they couldn't catch me. Or once, I've had a whole posse get mad cuz they lost (they were the targets) and then call in 5 more friends (making it 11 vs 4) to gang up on us even though we were trying to start another mission and get on with ourselves. Had to switch sessions cuz they had us boxed in.
  17. This. That's why I'm not bent out of shape over how things are going. I got more than my money's worth in single player. One of the most enjoyable games I've ever played, so I'm pretty damn patient with the online portion. While I wait (as I've cut down a bit on the hours I spend online), I can catch up on other games I've been wanting to play.
  18. Good stuff man. We need more of that. I've had that happen a few times, even riding together afterwards on occasion. One of our "victims" even became our friend. I think one of the problems is that some people think that you're able to pick who is the target.
  19. I mean I get it, I didn't understand until I was rank 25 and joined a posse that knew what to do. I mean that's generally the way every other mmo works except RDO and I guess gtao. So Rockstar is just being ass backwards for whatever reason. And most people when we explain it to them don't believe it until it happens. If nothing else you can do some real life stuff, or hunt and fish or mess around, do some gun maintenance. Sometimes my posse will split and half will carry the mission other half will do whatever unless we know we're entering a danger zone. Then take turns switching it up. Sometimes only one or two will do it while the rest distract enemy players, etc. All about that teamwork and time management.
  20. Doesn't take an exploit to get that high and that much money. Just takes someone who plays a lot and knows how to manage their time/money. Also being in a posse helps also, if he was in a posse.
  21. I know there was about 23 on out of 40 something (normally see 20-27 in a session on average). So I figured they increased how many players could be in a session and this one wasn't full yet. I guess it could be a glitch much like how your cores are black sometimes but doesn't actually affect you at all. Also the media loves to jump on the doom and gloom bandwagon. But I feel it's just as lively as it's been. Although we did have a somewhat quiet day the other day. Lotta peaceful players in that session until we met some people we had beef with and sh*t hit the fan and it was a gun fight involving 3-4 posses lol.
  22. It's basically like the gun rush pvp modes, kills generate points. Get exp for winning. You can do races too by the leader setting a point and racing to it like the race mode. My posse does these regularly since we tend to kill each other anyway. We had a two vs two Southeast of braithewaite and it was fun. I was practicing my free aim and first person while not using my hat (didn't change abilities tho). We actually had a posse challenge us to a feud the other day, I feel they were trying it out cuz it was 2 vs 6 and they were rank 25-35. A few of us sat it out to make it even unless the two went for us.
  23. I've been wondering why 9 times out of 10 whenever my posse and I do player/posse assassinations, that after we kill them they are super butt hurt and end up following us around trying to kill us. Like we don't keep killing them after the mission ended, once and then we move on to another mission. People acting like it's personal or we actually chose them when it's completely random. Kinda wondering if others have this same experience or those that have been the target and lost and how they feel about it.
  24. If only they would do separate lobbies then everyone wins. Because I personally don't like to do structured pvp all the time. What drew me into the online portion was the free roam pvp thing (plus I couldn't find any other decent mmo to play that suited my needs). I came from another mmo that had the same free roam pvp set up and I played it for 7 years straight until the company finally ran it into the ground too much for me to enjoy playing.
  25. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The occasional high level, yeah they pick on the lowbies. But more often than not it's the rank 20-40s that tend to be the "griefers" in my experience (I've played just about every day since 2 weeks after launch). And the times that I and my posse have chased around a rank 20 somethin is when they started it first, and we make them regret their actions by raining hellfire down on them. They get to a certain rank and think they can take on anyone with no consequence. Hell, I may have mentioned in this thread that I and a couple of my friends were sitting in Armadillo doing nothing but buying clothes and admiring each other's outfits. Some rank 25 with pelts and a deer on his horse had rode by me when I came in, nothing happened. Mind you, my posse and I are all 140+ with the highest being 185. Few minutes later, the dude comes and shoots my horse, my friend's horse and me and downs one of my friends. We didn't have guns out or anything and were surprised. Before he could chickenshit away, I shot him and his horse full of pelts down with a dynamite arrow. Then we killed him a few more times till he parley and left the session. Overboard? Maybe a little. But we're generally nice people until you do somethin like that. And no, the guy wasn't shooting by accident or for the daily. He shot at us about 7 times or so.
