This. Nothing else needs to be said.

If you chose a lean/athletic build when you made your character then when you're overweight it won't show as much as if you had chosen a more muscled build.

Can't store more than 3 outfits with improved saddle
Renascent replied to Kpizz2323's topic in Red Dead Online
Some of us like having several outfits. I actually change my outfit depending on what region I'm in (or if it's night/day), color wise, to blend in. Or just for the fun of it. Also yeah I hope they fix the wardrobe. They can't be giving us sexy clothes and not allowing us to store more outfits mange. -
For me my play style is to be fast and mobile. The weight slowed me down too much, sure I could take more bullets. But don't need a fat cushion if I just do better. Not saying for everyone to git gud, but that's how I hold myself.

Good stuff my dude. Rockstar over here making people become fitness nuts. Albeit unhealthy ones lol.

It takes a few days, yeah. I remember by the third day I was out of the overweight status and just average. Takes about a week to be completely max underweight. Once there you can easily maintain staying within 3-7.5% underweight. Trying to have perfect weight is hard to do as the window for it is pretty small. But yeah just keep your health core red, don't eat anything. And you'll go down. Worked for me and I haven't gone over 5% underweight since.

It's low key but not quite outright pay to win. Because people who suck at the game crying that they can't just swipe a card and have everything.

I really.... really.... hope so. I felt so accomplished getting to the rank to use that. Now some rank 60 scrub will have them. Low ranks gonna become even more cocky and start sh*t.

Are those pamphlets permanently lowered or just temporary....?

Usually when you specifically are looking for a hideout, it doesn't show. Me and a friend found 6 while we wandered around hunting and doing the other challenges. Other than the herb one not always registering that you picked something (picking them too fast), I don't have problems. Like one said, can't find something just session hop.

Happened to me. Ranked up normally to 176, noticed my exp was negative. Then suddenly ranked again to 177, nor I'm negative 7600/9800. Not sure what's going on. Hope they don't roll us back though lol.

You need more than JUST a winter coat to stay warm. Knit gloves, double breasted vest, sweater, padded jeans. Just like real life, layer up. Same goes for the heat in tumbleweed.

Don't eat, let your health core become red sometimes. If you need to fill cores, go to camp, rest at fire. Or if need deadeye, drink bourbon. I've done that and I'm back down to max underweight and generally stay between -6 and -7.5%. Never bothered eating much either way because you're gonna die to a headshot or explosives in a split second anyway. It sucks right now that you really can't even eat if you don't want to be overweight. I only eat enough to not be max underweight as it has the same core drain as being max overweight.

Decaying playing base maybe a blessing in disguise
Renascent replied to HuDawg's topic in Red Dead Online
You must not know very many people then. I feel the player base is fluctuating, not necessarily dying/decaying. It's an mmo whether you want to call it that or not. Maybe not traditional but still. You believe everything you read on the internet don't ya? Everyone jumping on the doom and gloom bandwagon cuz it's the in thing to do. -
Decaying playing base maybe a blessing in disguise

I almost never see the same people and it's rare if I do. It's rare if I get a session where most are passive. It's usually really lively. That's not really a good indicator of something having a decaying player base. The last mmo I left is still running strong despite everyone's doom and gloom over it dying. And it had the one size fits all thing too. -

Still seeing sessions with 22+ people in it regularly. Maybe it's just an Xbox thing... Most of my friends still play daily. -
Ngl I haven't seen a treasure map from a hideout/ambush in about a week. Only two I've had was from ranking and one a week ago from a hideout. Doesn't bother me much as I don't rely on it, just a 'oh that's nice' kind of thing. Although one bugged and when I went to open the chest there wasn't anything in it. Sent a ticket and was immediately compensated for it. Nice touch I guess.

It can one shot kill with a body shot. A rifle is a rifle, it's good with ranged. Like many have said, the shotgun is for close range. You can't one shot with other guns if you hit the upper body (unless maybe the carcano and rolling block).

I got the black Arabian earlier and boy I forgot how mouthy they are lol. Still trips up like a derp, the handling is nice but I still found myself missing my Foxtrotter. Fixed her up with the panther trail saddle. Because of the size it did seem like I was moving faster though. Some scrubs call themselves trying to follow me and I blasted away (had a good 30 minutes worth of pelts on me that I didn't want to risk). I tested the bravery thing and it's still the same. Got ambushed and knocked off, she was freaking out and had to call her a couple times. I was surprised that the black Arabian has more health than the Foxtrotter. First image is the black Arabian bonding 4 with panther trail saddle. Second is the Foxtrotter bond 4 with same saddle.

Close range combat. That's why. If someone wants to run up on me then they can taste double sawed offs. It's basically a one shot insta kill.
-
Well in a straight race my Foxtrotter does fine but I feel better handling in open races would do one better by being able to turn and stop/start on a dime.
-
Is the Arabian really the best ideal horse for races? I was thinking of getting more serious about them because I do like doing the races for fun even though the payout isn't that great. And honestly I think as far as best goes, it depends on what you're looking for and how you handle your horse and your perception of things. I'm a precision detail oriented person, so to not trip up I constantly switch between controlling the horse and letting the horse AI do its thing. Sounds like a lot of work but I naturally do that with everything in my life, so works out perfectly for me. I also have a sneaking suspicion that each individual horse has slight personality differences. As I've had two different Foxtrotters and both performed differently. Lucy, the silver dapple performs like a beast. Roxy, the amber champagne one performed like a scared teenager. Even my apaloosa did better than the amber.

They affect the stamina core and outer ring depletion rate along with health core. Along with adding extra bar or 2 of speed and acceleration to the horse's base stats. I just personally prefer using the special saddles as they look nicer. I'm not sure if you make a regular one of it'd be able to compete with the special saddles. Also there Foxtrotter has 1 speed more than the Arabian. Arabians are 6/6 for speed and acceleration. And I think it's not at the same time as I believe I have the achievement and only have 4 stable spaces. Just need 5 different horses.
-
Arabians look good on paper but they aren't the best or fastest horse. Might seem like it cuz they are small and the elite handling but there are better. I personally don't care for them because they are scared of their own shadow. And trip a lot, at least from my experience and hearing from others who have them. They are good for racing though. My personal favorite is the Missouri Foxtrotter. 7 speed, 5 acceleration. The stamina is on par if not better than the Arabian (9/10). Health I believe is 8/10. Chill disposition and fairly brave, about as good if not better than the Turkoman which many will tell you is the best as far as combat. Mine sticks by me and will come to me even though I'm being shot at or she's being shot at (needed my hat while hiding from a sniper behind a rock and he shot her 2-3 times and she was still coming to me, saved my ass). I'm like the Terminator when it comes to assassinations because of the Foxtrotter speed and stamina, no one escapes me. I've been in fire fights and literally shooting around her and she still stays where I left her (she was standing between me and the other guy). Or I've charged people with her and she takes 2-3 direct shotgun blasts and still keeps going. Comes in two coat choices; silver dapple and amber champagne (golden brown). Turkoman is next best in my opinion although others could argue otherwise. 6 speed, 5 acceleration, 8/10 stamina, 10/10 health. Brave, bigger like a thoroughbred. Very pretty, silver my favorite. From personal experience and what others tell me, the Turkoman likes to kinda wander off sometimes. Three coat choices of silver, gold (looks like mustard tbh), and dark bay (black/brown). Best saddles are the panther trail and rattlesnake saddles. Panther if you prefer less stamina core drain, rattlesnake if you prefer less health core drain. But you need to be like rank 89-91? I think. Both add 2 speed/acceleration to base stats making the Foxtrotter 9 speed and 7 acceleration, turk 8 and 7. You test the horse's "bravery" by how close you can get to a predator before it starts to panic. Both Turk and Foxtrotter can get almost right on a predator before it gets antsy. First pic is the turk. Second is the Foxtrotter (you can see the health and stamina for that one). There are others that have 7 speed as well: reverse dapple nokota, brindle thoroughbred, ultimate edition thoroughbred.
