I spotted that in the video, seems like a tough one. Who the hell is it? How would you benefit from saving him? What happens if he dies? Is it a trap? Putting things like this into a game really helps make the experience more personal. Might be one of those moments where I just push every button at once and see what fate decides lol

That explains it pretty well. I got on the forums around august last year. Got the game like a week after digital release though. Once they REALLY started deleting posts (and banning top members) it was very clear the way things were heading. The issues with the game are one issue, the way they (Gun, not necessarily the mods) deal with community is a whole other ballgame though... I still check it, but with how quiet things are there I don't really mind being banned. It's not like I'm missing out on anything important. As you said, that place just kind of got sad and depressing. All you really see are suggestions that will never happen and people stating "no new content" over and over again. What's there to discuss? The worst part is, this was their own doing. They really had a chance to redeem themselves after the announcement, but they seemingly did everything they could to make themselves fail... Great game (despite the bugs), worth buying (when I did), but it still burns...

I recognize the name, but I don't think we crossed paths much. Glad you made it to safety!

Not sure when I'll be getting RDR2, but: TurthfulList56 - XBOX Edit: Just noticed you're a mod @Cokeyskunk, congratulations! When did that happen?

Migrated here expecting my suspension. Wasn't expecting a permaban... Pretty quiet here, but it should start filling in soon. Glad you made it to safety!

That makes sense. Not sure when I watched a UR video, but I wouldn't doubt that I have at some point. Now I feel dumb lol
-
Nah. Though we did uncover 2 videos I was in like 10 years ago. One was a weird/stupid ninja thing we did for cinema class, the other was a music video my buddy made (equally as stupid). Robots are much more interesting lol
-
It's incredible how realistic they make games look these days... The scenery they showed was amazing! Odd/interesting/totally random, but one of the suggested videos after watching the trailer is about the robots we sell at work (Universal Robots).

I like and hate that idea... Really depends which side of that I'm on though lol I don't care for funk either.

Saw this story yesterday: https://www.yahoo.com/tech/grand-theft-auto-online-players-153818437.html Clearly not considering the trolls with this... -

Still say reflective damage is the way to go. Too late now I guess... Always. The only trolling I do is against other trolls. Not sure why (probably because it was brought up yesterday), but I decided to play a match last night. Jason sucked (I literally ran right past him in a hallway), so I was just messing around by myself. Got the 2 seater fixed and picked someone up. He didn't seem to care, so I decided to just drift back and forth for a while (you can do a full 180° now). Apparently some people thought that meant I had an open seat because like 4 people ran over to me on the other side of the map. Accidentally ran over 2 of them. One left, the other came back as Tommy, so I gave hopped out and let him drive it out. A few minutes later Jason left. That was a good display of several issues with the game that can never be fixed... Felt bad about it though, I really didn't mean to hit them... I'll stop ranting about nothing important now that my lunch break is over lol -

Not just that, but it also creates a domino effect, especially with the younger gamers. They see one person troll another, which makes them want to try it. They troll someone else with it, ruining the game for that person, which also makes them aware of it and more likely to do the same thing. In Friday the 13th, we used to have teamkilling. It really made the game more interesting. Trying to save someone also meant you risked killing them accidentally, making things more realistic. Unfortunately it was abused, so they removed it. They literally said "we can't have nice things". This was a great feature that made things more interesting, but we have too many trolls these days that can't play nice with others. It's sad, but the people developing games really need to take that into consideration. There are just as many trolls out there as there are people who just want to play the game as intended. There's no avoiding them, and nothing you can do to stop them (in most cases) so developers need to think about that when creating the game. With every new feature, they need to think "how can I use this to piss someone off/ruin their gaming experience" and change it as necessary. Edit: sorry for the rant -

I sure hope so, that's pretty shitty... Gamers these days are so damn selfish... I have no issue with screwing over your competition, but screwing over a teammate like that only gives your opponent a chance to steal the win. People like that shouldn't be allowed to play games online... -
I've only played like twice since the last update and only because my buddy wanted to. I only booted it up to see for myself how bogus it is offline. I knew it was limited, but I thought I could at least use my dlc...
-
I would've posted it elsewhere, but... You know... lol It's bad enough to be level locked at 0 offline, but we should at least be able to use the dlc... We really need those local saves more than dedicated servers.

One con to buying digital games is if your internet goes out. This happened to me last weekend and it made me realize that most of the games I had downloaded needed internet in order to play (or in order for them to be fun). The good offline games weren't installed, so I had very little to do all weekend. As soon as my internet came back on, I downloaded a few games to keep my occupied in case it happens again. In short, if you own it digitally you won't have access to the game at all if your internet goes out (unless it's already installed). You'll always be able to install the game off a disc though. Might not be a concern for most people, but it's a con to digital copies that became an issue for me recently. @Cokeyskunk, I couldn't even use Savini (even though I have the DLC installed) in offline bots. I never heard anyone complain about that before.

I'd throw in a gif but we have important people at work today and they're working at the table behind me... At least this sort of looks like it might be work lol Still think the town drunk would be a good rank though.
-
You have gunslinger twice. We need a town drunk on here! Who rambles more than the town drunk?

Knew I forgot one...

Skunks appreciate Coke ( @Cokeyskunk ) Libraries are just giant buildings with a fraction of the information that my phone can get me Everyone knows everything about anything There's always free legal/medical advice on any public forum People can't keep politics out of comments on news stories (no matter how unrelated) Most of my ideas already exist (like @BropolloCreed79's mistletoe belt buckle) I really never HAVE TO go to a store to get what I need

You're not allowed! Doesn't matter, I'm going to win it anyway!
