That is a great map. I send it via Xbox message to just about everyone I meet.

Has anyone seen a player bounty hunt pop up yet?
Freakshow9191 replied to Freakshow9191's topic in Red Dead Online
So you successfully captured a player. Hell yeah! Was he dead? I can't imagine an "alive" player in a bounty wagon or tied up on the back of a horse very long without switching sessions or something. -
Was it just sitting by the road saddled up? No one around? I noticed the "fame seeker" lady's donkey was saddled up is why I ask. Thought it may be a fame/danger seeker was around.

I do own it. When I see that red dot appear, I'm hard riding towards it, loading E-rounds, eating minty big game, and guzzling moonshine the whole way. And yet I'm honorable, helpful and have never picked a fight with someone minding their own business. I become "provoked" when a "RIVAL TRADER" makes their own CHOICE to throw the gauntlet down and select the "try and take it" button instead of choosing local. They threw it down, I'm picking it up. I have a choice, and so does the seller.

Ninja: if you make it to a drop off and there is a gunfight going on and you fail there, you lose your wagon that way too. Is it only ok for an NPC to ruin your hours of hard work? Also, as you said, you've "never lost a wagon to other players despite their best efforts". I bet you rather enjoyed emerging victorious from such an encounter. Am I wrong?

Baby horse? I haven't seen one either. If I find one I'm hopping on.

Ok, well good to know they are in fact happening. I spend a little too much time on the game and I'm surprised I've never seen one. James hickook: I've had 2 camp raids. But I was somewhat close to my camp each time. I think (not sure) that they won't raid unless you're within a reasonable distance to get back and defend. -
When frontier pursuits came out I remember hearing that player bounty hunts could happen. I haven't seen one pop up yet, so I assumed people are keeping their bounties paid down to prevent being hunted. OR, rockstar hasn't implemented it yet. Has anyone ever seen one yet?

Nothing in particular except for his size and cuteness and his "music". HEEE-AAAHH! yeah Everytime I ride him through a populated town a game of steal the donkey breaks out.

I think you should learn what a griefer is pluck. I'm far from it. I'm a guy who almost every session puts a 3 star cougar on the back of someone's horse and runs off as an act of Goodwill and a reassurance that not everyone you meet online is a scumbag. I'm a guy that will invite a new player I hear out on game chat having trouble, and invite them to a party and help them out for a long time even at the expense of my own nightly goals going unfinished. But when an exciting game mode and challenge presents itself in a way that it was designed by the games developers, I will give it a try.

I love that little guy. Would be a great addition to the stable. A 7 man posse, dressed in black, rolling into town on donkeys🤣. I ride one around town anytime I can, people always shoot me and take him. He's a hot property.

In a 7v7 match? When horses start going down, explosives are flying , respawns are throwing people in near and far, slight delay in microphone. I think it could get chaotic. I would love to try it out. The ONE time I joined a random 7 man posse to assist on an escort we didn't see even a single blue dot. But it was fantastic to be riding in a group that big, rifles drawn. Just daring someone to try and take it. Wish my friends would join more consistently. It's kind of hit or miss with my group.

My basic point was pointing out that who would have thought the trader role would have been the most adrenaline pumping of the new roles. Whether you're hunting a wagon or you're delivering one, I'm always way more on edge than when I'm bounty hunting. Maybe player bounties could rival trader intercepts, but I've yet to see one happen. I have had my wagon stolen. It was the risk I took when I rolled the dice and went for the extra $125. I only ride with one posse mate, all our attacks are with only 2 people. We have 3-3 record so far.

Anyone else find that tracking down and taking a trader wagon is the most exciting part of the update? It really takes some skill to do and really gets exciting. Since you only see the wagon on the map during the early and late stages of the delivery, the tracking and interception is challenging. Then, dealing with the players, wow. I love it.

What does the RDR2 online camp dog do?
Freakshow9191 replied to OmZ_CrisP's question in Questions & Answers
Update: I was about a mile or two from my camp hunting when this white dot came running towards me and barking. I was surprised to see it was my dog. Sure enough, just after seeing it the camp raid warning popped up. I was far enough away the the bandits were running away with a sack of supplies by the time I got back. I had to dispatch the bandits and return my supplies to camp. So, yes, the dog will come get you. Surely it won't even initiate a raid if you're say, on the other side of the map. Both raids I've had, I have been relatively close to camp. -
What is the max number of players in a session? Isn't it 32? Not to get too caught up in exact numbers but for the sake of this question let's just say 32. All 32 players in a session could have a camp. Correct? Question is, why can't I keep a camp going so Cripps can keep working while I'm off riding with my posse? Is it because there could be an additional 7 fast travel points on the map and that would be unfair? I've been trying to figure out the logic behind it. We've just noticed everyone is so quick to stand down and get back out on their own and start a camp to keep production going. Wishing we could just stay in the posse longer doing outlaw stuff together without halting production. Seems if I'm on the game Cripps should be working. What say you?

Getting grieffed as a trader.
Freakshow9191 replied to Shifter0351's question in Questions & Answers
It's not griefing at all. I love the way it is now. My heart gets going when either delivering or trying to steal a distant wagon. Someone said on this thread that others won't help due to the fact it wasn't worth their time. What? Anyone who helps you gets $312 for assisting In a distant large delivery. I haven't found a player yet that would turn down $312 for a 10-15 minute ride. I routinely bounce from posse to posse helping escort wagons. At 300 a pop it adds up quick. Then the same people will also come assist my own distant. Works great. -

I had my first camp raid yesterday. I had just left camp to go hunting, when almost simultaneously I heard barking, and "camp raid" "defend camp from raiders" popped up on the screen. So he did bark, but as far as an advanced warning.......not so much. I was too busy defending to notice if he was trying to bite anyone or not. -
I have a Black Arabian, MFT, and all 3 level 20 role horses. I still only ride the Arabian. The size and handling are what makes it great. Full gallop 90° turn and no need to hit the "brakes". And small enough to see around easily and avoid obstacles. She's like a little black cruise missile death machine. Don't know why everyone complains that their skittish. I used her on all 5 wolfman levels. I just didn't have any problems. A close second to me now is the Criollo. Great horse. I've heard all the negativity surrounding the Black Arabian, and if you're thinking about getting one, do it!
