Facebook likely updated their policy and this required some kind of compliance on Sony's part that has not been agreed upon yet. May never be back. A lot of people are aware of the privacy issues on Facebook and big businesses don't like the risks.

Not looking for anything in particular. Def not going out on Friday, that is for damn sure. I will check my usual spots online and if I happen to see anything deals, I might pick up something. In my experience, the sales are no where near as good as they used to be.

I was going to say it may just be a setting on your computer you have to change for the Rockstar launcher but since you do hear sound at the beginning, I am not sure what it can be. Try disabling your speakers so there is more of a priority for your headset.

I would take what you can from the above post and piece it into several different messages to hit Rockstar with. I have been having issues too and I wish I would have waited to get the game. It has been pretty frustrating at times but I have been contacting Rockstar about every issue. Sometimes they respond, sometimes they don't but I have to think that they are at least reading all of them.

It seems silly to us that you can't play it in Portugal but this is down to laws/rules over there more so down to Rockstar. Maybe because it is in a video game? At least there is a quick fix to that by just changing your account's location.

What could the reason be behind waiting to release the game on Steam?
MadMatt replied to Coyote's topic in Red Dead Online
This is what I was thinking. They end up eating a cost if they put it on Steam right away. For all we know, the delay in an official date announced may be because Rockstar is trying to lower that percentage. -
I gotta know what is on your plate. I remember when I was growing up, my mom would always make us kids some fresh pancakes and they always tasted the best because we ate them only on Christmas until we were a bit older.

Bleh. I hate peppermint. I actually got some of them pumpkin oreos and was not a fan of those either. When it comes to seasonal food, I am all about Thanksgiving Dinner. I can't wait for that. Homemade mash, stuffing, candied yams, juicy turkey, and all the other stuff.

Oh yeah. Games hit a booming period the last 10 years so having a PC and keeping it up to date to handle a lot of the games out there has to have been a pain. I don't play very many AAA title games so it isn't a big deal for me. I play a lot of indy games and lower level dev games. RDR2 will be one of the most demanding games I have played I believe.
-
Well that clears things up then. And here is me, thinking Rockstar was being THAT generous to give out that many games. LOL One game is more realistic.

Well, at least it is only a year. I got locked into some contracts with some really crappy services before and it was always two+ years. The last cable company I had, always had problems with it but it would have cost me more to terminate the contract than to just finish paying out the remainder months. I stuck it out and haven't had cable since. Soon as I was able to, I cut ties. In most cases, you can get a rough estimation of usage in the first month. Just see what you used at the end of the month. Add a bit to that. If you are right up at the cut off, I would just go for unlimited. I know I watch a lot more and do a lot more on my PC in the winter months without even realizing it.
-
They will probably start unloading information early next year then, prior to the E3 convention I am sure, get us all hot and bothered over the new consoles.
-
I think you would be fine. I know people on plans that offer less and they do more than you and they get by for the month. Are you locked into a contract with this?
-
Here is a review if anyone is wondering about the game. I was considering it back when I first heard about it but it completely slipped my mind until I saw this thread. Since I will be getting RDR2 on PC, I likely won't be getting this right away.

XP-PEN Artist16 Pro is a great option if you want to get one with a screen on a budget but it is $300. Check around for deals.
-
You still have time to preorder and get the deals or you can wait it out and buy later. Either way, if you think you are going to get it, it is best to just do it sooner rather than later so you can get all the free stuff included, get more for your money ya know?
-
From what I understand, you can ask for a refund within the first 2 hours of buying the game and playing it. I am not sure how this would work for preorders though. You may want to just contact Rockstar yourself and get a for sure answer on that.
-
They really want to get people on PC playing. Understandable. I mean this is a good way to do it. Give out older games hardly anyone is buying anymore and get someone who may invest in RDR2 long term.
-
I can understand that. You have to invest a lot up front if you don't want to keep updating every 2 years. I don't play many demanding games so I can get away with it for the most part but it does quickly burn a hole in your pocket and it is easier to just get a new console every 7 to 10 years then upgrading a PC 4 or 5 times in that time frame.

I don't like the standard cream ones. I like the outside the most actually. I would prefer it if they just had that as an option. The only one I like the cream in is the vanilla/white birthday cake ones. Those are hands down my favorite.

How do you think sales will do for the first few days?
MadMatt replied to bluntTR4P's topic in Red Dead Online
You mean split between two consoles? Yeah I can see it being no more than half the profit but even then, that is high. I am going to guesstimate they pull in around $150 million the first 3 days. No way they get more than that. I would be shocked. -
Not to take the topic off track here, but I am curious... What made you stop PC gaming? I don't hear of many people going off of it so I am wondering.
-
I guess not. I mean money wise alone it wouldn't make sense. I just enjoy games that have this feature since I play with both PC and console gamers. When does next gen drop? 2020 for both PS and Xbox?
-
I know there isn't enough information out as of yet, but what do you all think the chances of them adding in cross-platform play for RDR2 online? I didn't see anyone talking about it here yet, thought I would start a thread for it. I think having this be an option could further the general life of the game. On the other hand, it may end up costing them sales. Some people only play on PC so their console buddies might buy the PC version just to play with em'. What do you guys think?
-
I am hoping for them to be an option on PC. It won't be a deal breaker for me if not though. The way the game functions tells me they will most likely not be an option though. They want gangs playing against gangs.
