Nope. Deciding on which one to buy, lol. I do like bolt action rifles (both are actually Springfields here in the States) and both fell in the timeframe of the Wild West which is the era of weapons that I'm interested in game. I'm currently Rank 29 so I haven't unlocked the Springfield M1888, but I can purchase the Springfield M1892 (.30-40 Krag).

I've been doing a bit of research between the Springfield Rifle and the Bolt Action Rifle and there seems to be quite a bit of people saying that you can't get perfect pelts/skins with the Springfield Rifle and to use the Bolt Action Rifle while others say that you can. I'm in search of something for a perfect Alligator skin. What do you think?

I went with the saddle you unlock in the Bounty Hunter role. I still need to unlock better stirrups.

From my understanding, Stadia is not doing to well at the moment. I would advise anyone to wait until they work out the issues. Server side gaming is an interesting idea and will bring in a lot of new gamers whom otherwise can't or will not payout the current price for gaming consoles, but it still has a lot of work that needs to be done before it is ready.

I think your right. That saddles stats puts it in the middle between the saddle that you start out with and the saddles that you can either buy at a higher rank or unlock in the new DLC. I wonder how long it takes to unlock the Bounty Hunter saddle once you start.

When I was having this issue, it turned out to be Bitdefender was blocking my game. By going into the Bitdefender menu and giving the game an exception, solved my startup issues. Tell your friend to temporary disable the security software on their PC, then try restarting the game. If that works, an exception for the games exe file will need to be made.

Good news!. Can anyone confirm improvements with i5 CPU's and GTX cards? My issue was that I couldn't run the game at all, even on low settings which it would default to on my gaming laptop with an i5 and a GTX 1050 TI 4GB.

Thanks everyone. I was online in Red Dead Online earlier today and here's an update. I'm currently ranked in the mid 20's and thought I would be able to unlock the saddles that I'm interested in with gold, that is not the case. I was able to complete everything that I wanted to do with both my Colt 1873 Cavalry revolvers and my Winchester lever action rifle!. I might use some gold to unlock the Double Barrel Shotgun if I can do it with gold. There is one saddle that I can unlock with gold that does have better stats then my current saddle which is the saddle that you start with. Since I plan on doing the Tradder, then Bounty Hunter missions or both simultaneously if I can, should I go ahead and unlock this saddle with better stats, or save the gold and wait until I unlock the saddle in the Bounty Hunter missions? I still have over 100 Gold Bars from my purchase of 150 Gold Bars. I will using some of the Gold Bars to buy into both the Tradder and Bounty Hunter missions.

If my memory is right, there are 3 of the best stirups in game and 1 of them is non-hooded. I'm wondering what the performance is of the non-hooded vs the hooded stirups that are 2 up from there. Basically for me, it is time to make my first saddle purchase. I have been using the saddle that you get at the beginning of Red Dead Online and It's time to buy something that offer's better performance.
