I'd lie to you and say yes, but that would make me a liar. So, my answer is yes. In all seriousness, the trailer was good for what it was but I felt like there was a lot of things that didn't need to be slapped in there to make it longer. Like, I would have been more happy if they teased John to us rather than just showed him getting choked out.

This is like comparing apples to invisible oranges... As for the topic on boats, I like what Hazed said. It could add a bit more to the water which was basically useless in RDR.

Dan, if there was a purpose the point being is that it can make the game better, no? I mean that is what I got from this. At face value, going into empty buildings would be a waste but if there was something you can do, find, or even establish by breaking into someone's house or place of business within the game, it would make online more fun and generally up the value fo the campaign mode.

I know the Switch and Nintendo aren't directly a factor in RDR2's release... But supposedly there are rumors of major releases from Nintendo this fall. Anyone think it will change things in terms of sales for RDR2? My first thought is that Nintendo is primarily geared at kids and teens buuuut a lot of adults, specially those growing up in the 90's will want some of the bigger releases.

The balance is important as well for microtransactions. If they screw it up in game, it will likely bleed onto the DLC area and that can be bad for us. Like we overpay real cash for in-game items or cash itself.

The thing I find funniest about this (not the shooting, that is horrible) is how people don't even bring this up now. People have an easy time of getting over things. I do see stuff on the news about students protesting here and there but the general public, I don't hear a peep about it.

Points are taken. I do like the idea of allowing them to be used even if fishing isn't something. Maybe even have some big boat docked somewhere and have it be part of a mission.

It is hard to say. I think it will have to do with the online end though be it content related or not. There is always something found by someone online to complain about in even the best games.

So I was thinking about it and in the online end of the game, I think it would be cool to have areas of water you can go out on a boat and actually fish. I know this isn't generally something Rockstar would do in their game but it would be a cool way of finding hidden treasure as well as adding in some new mini-games or online missions. What do you guys think?

I can see that but that is a general statement, not all console gamers are like that. I think that is mostly kids and franchise fanboys.

I don't understand why they have to go through all this trouble to begin with. The game itself is simulated gambling, not real gambling. If people want to buy DLC money and use it for gambling, why not just let them??

We will have no idea if things improve until we actually see how it works. For all we know, the loading will be just the same. The game is going to be more developed, richer in graphics, and all that jazz so it taking a bit to load should be expected. I am not bothered by the waiting time so long as it doesn't get stuck into a loop when I am trying to join a server.

They still sell CoD games from like 5 years ago for full price on Steam and you can get a physical copy of that for like $5 on eBay. lol

I can't see EA overdelivering on anything. LOL I mean think of how horrible Madden alone has gotten over the years. If anything, they listen to their fans by doing the opposite of what they want.

I was thinking about this and it would make ZERO sense if they do indeed bring the game to the Switch and not on PC. GTA V sold well on the PC and a lot of people even bought two copies who play on both console and PC. I feel like if they did release it for Nintendo it would be a slap in the face to PC gamers. What are your thoughts on this? You think if the Switch rumor is true, it will later come out on PC as well?

I feel like that is the best thing we all can do right now... Sleep it off. Problem is, that is a long time to sleep. Work, eating, etc just gets in the way so I am forced to stay awake and accept this painful news. Uggg. Damn you Rockstar!

Someone had mentioned this to me a few days ago and I checked online and didn't see anything so I thought we were in the clear but now I see we are indeed not. This sucks. It really really sucks. I feel like things have been pushed back so much with this game already that it couldn't get worse, there couldn't be another set back and BAM! Here it is.

I don't care what we get so long as everything works well. I have had my doubts based on the delay and lack of news on the game but I think the DLC will be fine whatever it is.

The only way I can see RDR2 coming out under Nintendo is if they release another Switch that is beafier. I am sure it can handle RDR but certainly not 2 and even GTA V will be pushing it.

Yeah I thought it was one of the best for video games in general. I have not heard of anyone not liking it before this. I hope they stick to the same formula on RDR2 man. It had a nice flow and fit each part of the story well. Specially the ending.

This is what I was thinking. I had some wires hitting a fan before because I didn't have them properly tied off. Was very annoying but that is what happens when you build a sloppy computer lol
