^ I can dig that. It would work really well and be different enough to feel fresh but still true to a Rockstar game. I am not bothered by there being one, or three, or even six playable characters just so long as it is done the right way. Technically, RDR1 had 2 characters if your remember.

Welcome brother. I hope you like it here. There are a lot of cool people and it is not as messy as GTA Forums. I personally don't like huge forums like that. There is too much going on for me. I am a slow one. lol

I thought this myself but like it was pointed out above, RDR was nothing like GTA V trailers. Still, I mean it may be different if they are marketing this game as a gang and playing through 3 separate stories that are bunched into one.

Man.... I mean yea it is funny in an ironic way but. Sucks man. Just sucks.

I think it is pretty obvious what my favorite is based on my avatar... (Cowboy Bebop) I also enjoy other more mainstream anime shows like Dragon Ball Z (Super right now) and Fullmetal Alchemist.

Eh I don't think they are becoming this way they were just raised to be like this. Mix this in will all the advancements we have made, people hardly have to think for themselves. We will be screwed if something like iRobot comes along I can tell you that much. People just need thicker skin in general. We all like to be liked but if one of a few people don't like you, oh well. Pay attention to the people who care.

I can really say I would want it modeled off of another game other than GTA. I want something that feels fresh and new. If it is the same old thing I likely wont bother with it. The campaign always means more to me anyways.

It would have to be something special. I haven't paid to play an online game separate of system memberships since WoW and I gave that game up in the first year of playing it. I loved the game just got sick of paying for it and the time investment needed to make that game worth while.

Is this just for online or both? I have a few ideas that I thought would be cool but they don't really apply to online game play.

I would not go as far to say it will out rank GTA V just because the GTA games have a much bigger fan base but I can see the game getting great ratings and scores across the board. I would be more shocked to see it tank than actually do good.

I am not sure if this was mentioned or not but this game seems like it will look a lot like RDR2. It got me to thinking, what can this mean for RDR2 having a PC release. I mean if this game gets a huge following, is it even worth competing with?

If something happens I will be surprised but I will be checking anyways. I follow them on Twitter. Really only follow things I am waiting on. So if something gets released I will see it.

A lot more than we are thinking here, I can tell you that. I just have a hunch. He will be in the main trio.

I know so many of us have gone back and forth with this a million times already but I still have a feeling that John will be in the main story line and the guy (William "Bill" Williamson) from the last one will be one of three you can play. There wont really be a villain but we will rather be playing as a fall out. So essentially we will see John turn good and actually become the villain OR we will see him turn away and Bill become to villain. At the beginning you will be playing as the bad guys though.

Yeah I seen these. They are stills from the trailer. Interesting note about the train there. I was assuming the game would be set around 1890 judging by John's age.

Well there will be a lot of open terrain for sure and that is what was being showcased. Small towns and gang hide-outs will be the main focus. Watch.

Not sure if anyone seen this trend but people are on Youtube and online lying about getting the games early. What kind of time must you have on your hands to be this kind of troll is beyond me. The reason they piss me off is because they are using a lie as click bait knowing full well that kids and people who don't follow gaming news will fall for it and watch these videos.

Yeah sounds like FarCry Primal to me too. I think that they don't want all the focus to be in the wilderness though, specially not with RDR2. It is going to be about gangs so a lot of the focus will be likely done in towns and cities.

I plan on not doing anything for the first few days of the release. I will take time off work just to veg out on it myself.

I would not be surprised if what Gato said was true. That seems like a logical reason to stop if you ask me. If the release date has been delayed we will find out from Rockstar soon enough anyways.

You honestly think that Rockstar is going to think into this much of the details from history? L-O-L Come on now.. You are giving them too much credit here.

I have a friend who worked at a Gamestop and they used to get the games a few days BEFORE the release date. I think it was something like the week before and you know what some of them did? They took the games home, opened them, played them, and then brought them back to the store. They even resealed them and sold them like they were new. Very shady stuff.

Don't get me wrong... Some stuff and options would be great but I know they aren't going to waste that much time on details on this.
