If they have it where you can easily earn loads of money then it won't be much of an issue. I think it is best that if you die, you respawn with it. If you don't die and you can't find it, then you have the option of buying a new one or running in front of a train lol

Like Archbell said, they will have stuff like this but it will be added in slowly. It makes the most sense when you want to keep a game lively and feeling fresh. Think of all the other games out there that gave you most of what the game was up front and very little after. People get bored and move on.

The really did add a lot to GTA and I am sure RDR2 will get the same treatment. Even though I lost quite a lot of interest in GTA V, I still hopped on to see what was new every few months so it does keep people interested.

If we are basing this off what they did in GTA V and how RDR functioned, then Arthur dies, goes missing, or gets locked up and we finish the game as John. I am not opposed to this if they do it right but I still think this is a bit predictable. Like if they want to surprise us with something near the end, would they do anything like this?

It would be cool to have the option but I highly doubt we will have one. Maybe they will allow people to hop on private servers but even then, that would cost extra and I am not sure Rockstar would be willing to invest in something like that.

I could make babies to his voice so I will gladly welcome it back. I realize how wrong that sounds but he made John such a badass without John even being a villain or anything.

I have only did a preorder 2 times online and both times the game came past the actual release date so I am not risking that with RDR2. I have a car and functioning legs, I will just preorder it in store.

I had some McD's earlier. Still drinking the soda. I swear they put drugs in this food. It smelled and tasted way better than I feel right now. I don't eat it often and now I remember why. I am taking this off my dinner options for my RDR2 launch binge.

I wouldn't say a lot of the bad reactions were purely homophobic but rather people just being a bunch of trolls for the sake of being trolls. I really don't give a crap what people think of the game or the characters, I think it looks great and I have every intention of playing it.

Maybe but it is a virtual animal that I won't have any emotional ties with. I find it easier to form bonds with human characters in video games vs animals. I have my own animals to bond with in real life. lol

I don't see why they wouldn't offer anything like this ever. Some people may want only certain items but I am sure plenty would happily pay for everything in one go.

I kind of assumed this would be the case. You can't have things slow down on your screen when the person you are targeting isn't actually moving slower. The x is a nice touch though.

I noticed soon as they told us the release date. I was relieved. I likely would not have been able to get any work off at the end of October. A lot of people take time off for Halloween stuff and then a few others go on vacations.

I know a lot of people would be mad but the thought of building up a relationship with my horse for like 30+ in-game hours and having it mauled by a cougar makes me laugh. I would imagine though if this is the case, I can get all my weapons off the dead horse.

Yup this is how I felt. I did really enjoy Dutch though. I have a feeling I will be more keen on liking him in RDR2 than Arthur but we shall see.

I would like to see it be an option but I am not sure they would do anything like this. It would have to be a clone copy of your character and they wouldn't be able to earn anything from it or else it would make everything unbalanced.

I don't understand that. Like if they do push to have everything be digital, then we better get some discounts cause you know they will be saving a lot of money on not having to burn the games to discs or make cases.

They will have things to do if you don't want to carry on with the main story but in order to advance and open up more areas of the map, you are going to have to keep the story going. Far Cry doesn't have the same style of storytelling as Rockstar games either so it isn't much of a comparison.

That is how things go with everything, not just video games. When you are waiting on something to come out or be released, any shred of news or updates on it will get people talking until everything has been said and then it just gets quiet again. Wait until the game comes out, this forum will be LOADED with people talking about the game daily. Watch.

I just now got done with the video. I knew about it but been so busy, I kept forgetting to actually sit down and watch it. I am very impressed and surprised by how detailed all the little things in the game are. It seems like they put a lot more attention into this game than any other game they had previously made. I feel like they are trying to attract new fans doing this which is good. What is really impressive too and something to consider, this is only a small portion of the game. I can't imagine what it will be like playing it.

This is part of the reason I loved the special editions for the Batman games. They always included some really cool stuff. I am willing to pay double if I can get a collectors edition item that will not be available anywhere else.

GTA V may be a Rockstar game but it has been "THEE" Rockstar game for many years. It is like we are comparing a season game of football to the superbowl. Yeah, RDR2 isn't going to do as good but that doesn't mean it will be a bad thing. They will make more than enough off the game.

Yup. This. I am not sure how much people think they will actually cram into this game but the more I read up on people's ideas, the more I am convinced people are forgetting this is a Rockstar game.

We will likely get some stuff over the summer I am sure. Maybe they will show off some of the game at E3 or host a small thing themselves.
