I saw this via an ad on youtube last week and it looks really interesting. I'll certainly be checking it out when it launches.

Damn.. the video is not available in my country. -Looks up another on youtube- The new laws really annoy me. Love this band. I just listened to Fergus County Jail. Excellent song.

The only part of me that didn't hit the floor was my head!! Helmet is a-ok with not a scratch. The rest of me...... those jeans will never be the same again. 😢 Let me grab my needle and thread, that will need to be a quick-opening chute indeed!

Male vs female horse? What is the difference
N7Creed replied to Dissention's question in Questions & Answers
Haha, My spidey sense is tingling!! @Major Dammidge Yes, I brought the Hungarian Halfbreed Piebald Tobiano. He's a level 24 war horse, so certainly not the best stats. But of all my horses (And I have the special edition TB) he's my preferred all-rounder for free-roam. I had the free red arabian on my PS account. It's skittish and flighty even with full bonding. Both these are stallions, but at least in the singleplayer, I didn't notice much difference between male v female. Breed seems more influential. I'm tempted to get a second shire and make it a mare (first is a stallion) and see if they act differently. -
But..... but I just wanted my gold nuggets! 😢 That was a total blast. Especially Whiskey on the machine gun! I do need to change my winner's pose though. I've never used it before so didn't realize it was the gross spitting one. 😄 Don't worry Illustrious Leader, we can try Hunt the Leader again next time. No more climbing high things for you though. Thank you both for an awesome evening. Totally made up for my cycle crash.

Arabians are very skittish. The Fox Trotter is one of the top horses in-game. But all horses have good and bad points. I have a mid-tier work horse but it's agility is crazy good. It just can't sprint fast. Some go for longer distances, some like the shire are very tanky. I've never been catapulted off my shire, he wrecks anything that runs into him, plus he has the biggest feet and will mow down small game and NPCs with barely any aiming. Where as the lighter breeds run right over the rabbit etc without touching it. I have the arabian on my PS account and only use it for racing. I never bothered with the white one I caught in singleplayer. Good for a short sprint but not much else and mine always run off at the slightest rustle of a bush.

Don't know what rewards it gives. I got the daily when I did it. But it was fun (and very brief).
-
Would you guys be interested in stuff like the posse races? I did one with a stranger for the daily a few days ago and it was actually pretty fun. (I accepted a random invite and that's what the leader did, I assume he needed the daily too.)

I do think the game attempts to pit player against player when they invite you to go disrupt someone else's mission. At least that's how I interpret your idea. But I agree that having a proper bounty system is certainly needed in this game. I 'hope' that's what R* is planning with the new job roles that are coming out. That would be excellent. I can see that they may have delayed the job modes while they worked out balancing honor/dishonor and the general griefer problem. I suspect there is a lot of background coding and math needed to support something like this.

Grats @WhiskeySour !!

This is the option I'd go with (I'm a pessimist)... But I hope they already have something in the works.

If the gold reward for killing a griefer is true, I think that will be a step forwards. Has anyone been able to confirm this? I'm kind of amused by the idea of the griefers now being the hunted ones... After having been snipped while fishing, twice. This guy stood up on a distant bridge and sniped me twice. I'll ignore the first one, but twice is purposeful griefing. As it happens I needed to move from a river to the lake anyway so I just changed lobbies. But I don't want to be forced to do so. Maybe next time I'll pack up my rod and go griefer hunting instead.

I played an MMO years ago where they had pvp allowed everywhere, but attacking someone only took off one health point (almost nothing) until they attacked back, and then it was true pvp. it was a kind of auto-opt-in.. if you didn't want to engage in pvp, you ignored the attacker. They could stand there chipping away at your health one point per hit but it would take so long you could just go about your business, join a raid or whatever. If you moved to engage them though, their attacks became real and did damage. Maybe this kind of idea would work for RDO?
-
Can someone confirm this? I heard that if a player kills you while you are in defensive mode they loose money? And also if a defensive player starts to grief you they loose money too? For being an ass in defensive mode?

Mine's in my sig. 👍

I believe it could be done in a respectful manner. After all there are already Indian face types in the character creator. So adding more Indian themed items/accessories would be in keeping with the game as-is. There is also a Native Indian Only Posse already up and running who only accept Indian characters.

Loving the badges!!! @Herta47 Grats on your badge too!!!

Did you get your PC headphones working? I've been unable to use PC headsets on the xbox so brought a gaming headset instead. May have been your issue? @Major Dammidge The last bit of space on my xbox memory was used on this: Two cowpokes planning their next raid?
-
Well, since I started playing again I've seen a few bugs that don't affect the game but look really silly. So I figured I'd show what I have and see if others are finding other amusing pieces of miss-coding. Posse leader's horse grew a human torso... Same leader also acquired his very own pelt Halloween costume... My horse got it's tail docked... (But also proof R* know their horse anatomy.) And I came across a burning glowing bush..

Deceased gang members' loyalties (spoilers)
N7Creed replied to Parzival's topic in Red Dead Redemption 2
I think Hosea would have sided with Arthur even though it would hurt him. Near the end I walked in on several arguments between the two of them. And Hosea seemed to be getting near the end of his tether trying to talk Dutch around. -
I can't help it... more of my Arthur. This time taken with the in-game camera. Big game hunter: Out on a hunting trip with a chain of pack horses: One of his main horses: Also didn't realize how much of a chain smoker my Arthur was.... lawl

@Major Dammidge Awwww you are too sweet. Just wait until I make room on my xbox for more pics... These were all taken with the in-game camera. Rio Bravo: Clemens Point: Roanoke Ridge: Lannahechee River: Guarma: And some other random ones:
