When do you think Rockstar will shut down the servers for RDRO?

Just curious how long after RDR2 multiplayer is launched that the RDRO servers will shut down.  Hopefully it's not before as I am still hoping to play until the 26th when the big day arrives.  I don't know much about how servers work, except the obvious basics of them.

It shouldn't affect the campaign.  Then again GTA5, when they released the online mode many people had issues getting on and there was several times they would shutdown to fix issues.

I would expect that to happen again.

Is anybody still playing there?

I just recently started playing RDR again on PS Now during their free 7 day trial.  I noticed that the online was still up which surprised me.  There were a few folks in the session I joined but I exited after a couple minutes since I was simply curious to see (wanted to spend my time in the campaign).

I'm not sure if PS Now is tied into PS3 users or not for such things?

I swear they could have made good money on a re-release on RDR for the latest gen consoles a few months back.  .....perhaps even still for the die hard fans.

I don't see a whole lot of people playing RDR online anymore but I would imagine they shut them down just before they launch RDR2 online. That won't be right on the 26th though. You can always tag them on Twitter and ask. See if they respond.

I still play every day and there's always lots of people on.   There's more on in the evening/night time of course, but even during the day there's plenty of people playing.  I had tried the RDRO with the PSNow  several months ago, but it was glitchy as hell.  I find there's more people playing friendly mode and normal mode than HC, but still quite a few people playing whenever I'm on.
