Talking to people

I am having trouble talking to people  I push the LT  but nothing. Happens  any ideas ?

You need to be looking at them.

Yes, you have to aim at them without your weapon in your hand, and the command will pop up to Greet.

Do you have to be on your horse ? Because I stood in front of them pushing LT and nothing?

You sure you can interact with the person you are trying to talk to? You shouldn't need to be on your horse for this.

Yep nothing happens  I walk all around them I keep pushing and holding down the the LT button but nothing. I tried to to do a hard rest on the Xbox x but still nothing . I am thinking of removing the game and reload it?

I deleted the game restarted it and the same thing I really do not know what to to do. Is there anyone I can email aboitmthis ?

Did you make sure your controller isn't having issues? I had a controller with a busted trigger once and didn't know it till I played a game that needed me to use it.

I have a new Xbox x and I bought a new  controller I did change it out but still the same !

Damn man, I am not sure what the issue could be. Did your game run the recent patch? Maybe it didn't install it properly or something?

If you have an Xbox elite controller you need to disable your trigger guard on the back of the controller. If you don’t have an Xbox elite controller idk. I have an elite controller had the same problem as soon as I flipped it up it was perfectly fine. If not, you might need to call rockstar

You've never talked to anyone in the game? If you're LT circle on the screen fills up then it's not your controller that's the issue . Maybe the patch wasn't downloaded?

Yeah, that issue sounds really strange.  You need to hold the trigger down if that helps.  The dialogue options should then appear and your camera will track them as they pass by, etc.  It felt a little quirky at first but I don't have any problems (PS4).

Are you having trouble with the opening  act....the game teaches you in the beginning how that's done?

The same thing just happened to me after loading up the game, I'm wondering if it's to do with having your Xbox in sleep mode. I'm about 10% of the way through the story and haven't had this issue before.
