Deathmatches - Yay or Nay?

So they had deathmacthes in the first one online and I think most people I knew liked them. In comparison to GTA V - one can argue that RDR1 did them better and they were added to GTA at the end like a "whatever" thing to do. Any thoughts on deathmatches returning? How about any idea on what you would like to see with them?

I didn't play many of these but I did prefer them over the ones in GTA V for sure...

I would gladly welcome them back if they do it again.

I liked it myself and would play it. It felt very basic but in a good way. Like running around in a paintball park. 

I don't need over-the-top stuff to have fun in a deathmatch.

Not sure I would play them that much but I might. I tried them in the first one and never went back. I guess I cared more about the actual story than the online mode.

Yeah man I liked these too. A lot of people I know did. A few thought they sucked because there was nothing going on but I preferred it over GTA V's.

They will likely have this in the game with improvements. I don't think it felt like a last minute addition like so many people have said. I liked it!

I don't get what all the hate was either. It seems like a small group just liked crapping on it and it made it feel like more people hated it than not.

Yeah people tend to want something to complain about and I will give them that, the only part you could find ground for complaining about RDR was the online but to be fair, this was from how many years ago?

That is the thing. Even if they DID make a solid death-match back then, still some people would be complaining. I don't care what people say because the majority of us had a lot of fun with it at the time. I am all for them being in the game again.
