Gnaw5
Hey everyone. I haven't even been able to access RDO and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for solutions. Rockstar support rarely responds to me and when they do it's with the same automated email that doesn't solve anything. When attempting to access the Red Dead Online beta I am unable to and I always receive a few alerts. The first states that I am unable to connect to Rockstar game services at this time (Error: 0x10001022), the second states that I have been disconnected because my connection to Rockstar game services was lost and appears as one or two different codes (Error: 0x30005001) or (Error: 0x99360000). I own the ultimate edition of Red Dead and I’ve been trying every solution to solve this. I have fully restarted the game and the Xbox console while clearing my cache. I have tried to use multiple networks and I have tried using an Ethernet cable. I have also tried manually adjusting my NAT settings to open and adjusting my DNS setting as suggested by some forums. I live in a dorm so I do not have access to the router. If you guys have any idea what might be going on I would really appreciate any help you might be able to offer. Thanks, Charles
Adrian_666
I have the same error, it is caused by turning off the console while creating the character and not saved on the rockstar servers. I still do not know how to fix it
KRooKeD KRoW
That's why I don't email support, I'll open a ticket and try to get a chat going with one of them. But you sometimes have to wait up to an hour for a response (usually get a response within a few minutes). Then they sit there with you while you try different things to figure it out, but usually end up saying they'll elevate it to another department and email you if anything. I had one of those codes pop up Tuesday for RDO, but it disappeared quick so I didn't get to see it, and haven't had any since. But I've had problems with other games and an error like it, and usually doing a hard reset of the xbox (holding the power button for about 10 sec until it shuts off, then turning it back on after a bit) works, sometimes had to do it a few times. I imagine you already tried this, tho. If you're trying to get on for the first time today, I'm wondering if it could be another bug that popped up from them opening it up to more people. Gnaw5
I feel ya on those late response. You're right I have tried to fully restart the xbox like that. I've been trying since Tuesday and that last error code (99360000) only started popping up today so I feel like you're right about new issues arising when they open it up to more people. Thank you for the suggestion though.

McLawDiz
Quote I am having the "Error: 0x10001022" constantly.. but ONLY when i do missions.. i can get like 2-3 minuttes in the session, and then it all stalls / lags, and then it comes up with the error. I did not close down my PS4 while creating the character, and almost played 1-2 hours afterwords. But i sence its because the massive overload on the rockstar servers, however its almost unplayable. Moosh89
Ahhhh F***... So let me begin by saying I found a bug and diligently reported it to Rockstar. The bug is in the house west of Van Horn where you find the "strange creature" in Story mode. In Online free roam, there's a file cabinet you can loot and in one of the drawers is apparently a Pocket Watch you can take, yet when you take it, the animation of grabbing it and putting it in your inventory plays but it never registers as collected on the right side of the screen or gets added to your inventory. I had to bypass the over-eager "Rockstar expert" Dave who didn't provide any help whatsoever and request that my ticket be forwarded to a Rockstar Support rep. I got a reply a few hours later telling me to try clearing my cache. I did so, but now I'm wishing I didn't even bother. I can't connect, I get two back-to-back errors. The first set were: ALERT You have been disconnected from Red Dead Online because the connection to Rockstar game services was lost [Error: 0x10001022] ALERT Unable to connect to Rockstar game services at this time. Please try again later. [Error: 0x99360000] All other times after (up to 3 or more) I received these back-to-back errors: ALERT You have been disconnected from Red Dead Online because the connection to Rockstar game services was lost [Error: 0x30005001] ALERT Unable to connect to Rockstar game services at this time. Please try again later. [Error: 0x99360000] I was/am Level 29 and now I'm terrified I'll have to restart 😓 I responded to my support ticket but figured I'd google diagnose in the meantime... #WebMD *EDIT* I waited nearly an hour on the Online Beta screen and hit X to play again and it finally connected me, phew! Bug is still there though Edited March 20, 2019 by Moosh89
VampireKrush
This may not work for everyone but my buddy swears it worked for him. The easy fix? Reset your router. Some will give you a new IP, others won't unless you do a long press into the reset button. Either way, he said for some reason this worked.
