Things to do?

Hi, 

 

 First post, of many I imagine!

 So, I'll get to the point... 

 Just had a new born, time is precious, and I seem to just be running around aimlessly doing the odd online story mission and killing the odd vulture.

 I need some guidance on things to do. Some goals to meet etc.

 What is everybody doing whilst on the game right now? 

 I had a Google of 'things to do' but can't find much right now.

 All input much appreciated, no matter how small!

Play Story mode, this game is nowhere near finished.

I think back to all the missions, races, etc we had with GTAO at launch... not to mention a great SP to MP glitch,  RDRO has nothing exciting to do.

Id rather track down orchids for Algernon Wasp than grind the missions online,  for gods sake you can't even save your game! You could lose an hour worth of pelts when the servers kick you.

Im not gonna say RDRO sucks, its just nowhere near finished and shouldn't have been released.

Now if I could SPMP glitch Buel into online, that might be fun.....

See there's the thing... It hasn't been released.. It's only in Beta. You can't compare it to GTAO, which has quite a few years under its belt, because it's only been a week since BETA release. It will evolve in time, and no doubt will be the game that it should be.

I like hunting, OP... Spent a lot of time in SP doing it, so it's keeping me amused right now, but I can see it getting stale real fast. Playing with friends, doing races, side missions, etc.. Should keep you busy for a wee while, but the single player is awesome, and has so much to do, if you find yourself getting bored.

The story is awesome, I've played it through twice. Online I kill animals then someone kills me before I get to the butcher LOL. No I hunt mostly but when I get totally bored I join the sign-up for missions and doo those.

Hoover is right.  RDO isn't the final release.  It's still in beta and R* has made that abundantly clear.  Now, if someone would rather wait for a more complete online experience, I would advise them to hold out until the final release.  ....but other than that, I'm glad they made the beta open to all owners of RDR2 during development as our input will (has) been able to help shape the online experience in the final product.

I played the story and am working to complete the game 100% now. I mess around with online but I don't take it too seriously. I mostly just hunt and do some missions with my boyfriend and his friends.

Generally, I would complete a combination of "Stranger" and "Hideout" missions while occasionally hunting for pelts and meat.
