I am in the mood again. Funny thing is, when I lose weight, it tends to be in the fall and winter where people actually gain it. Makes no sense to me. But yeah, I am looking to eating a bit better and being more active. I know when I am moving around more and doing more I am happier and feel better.

What do you guys do to stay healthy or fit?

I try to limit my junk food daily. That is about all from me. I might start going back to the gym. I was an avid gym rate when I was a teen and I don't actually know what made me stop. I would like to be in better shape though.

I've lately been training for a "military" PFT for the last 3 months, so that includes push-ups, sit-ups and 1.5 mile run.  This mix of exercises alone has made me lose weight and build lean muscle mass.

But ever since I bought a fitness watch, I realized I wasn't in very good shape with regards to my heart, so I've been trying to maintain peak levels of heart bpm during cardio.  It's also helped motivate me to get up more often and be more physically active.  It calculates all of those things and sends you notifications.

I usually just pull myself out of bed a few mornings a week and take the dog for a walk or jog. I need to eat better and I know I should be but I love junk food too much. I am glad I am not fat but I know as I get older, it is only going to start packing on. I am going to cut back on the junk in the next few weeks and stick to it for the rest of the year. Start 2018 the right way.

I wish I could say I did. I guess I make an effort "sometimes" to pick healthier sides or meals but I usually ruin that by eating something like cake, pie, or ice cream int he future. lol As for as activity goes... Well, I am pretty lazy and my stomach is proof of that.
