Lone Wolves have nothing on a Wolf Pack...  But I do enjoy lone wolfing, as it means more people will attack me.

Really wish R* would stop with the damn battle royal modes.

I would love 4 vs 4.. or 8 vs 8 game modes.   Game modes where I PICK to play them and I can play it.

Why the hell does Gun Rush get its own game mode?   ..

100% agree.

I want a choice in the game mode I'm playing...not simply a catch-all category. I hate battle royal games. In fact, I'll go so far as to say I only like team death match or fire fight modes.

Give R* a year and they'll have it all fixed up making players happy. Just gotta give them some...more time. I cant wait to be a lone wolf bounty hunter if they can ever update that into the game!

When you buy a car, are you willing to wait a year for them to get it to start.  When you buy a house, are you willing to wait a year for them to add the foundation, walls and roof plus the other things that make it so you can live there.  To me if I offer my money up front, it's called a pre-order.  They can have it fixed and up in running.  It shouldn't be the after thought after they released it.  I personally not waiting a year for a Beta to get fixed.  They had 9 years, they should have planned better and been better organized.

In all fairness, R* was up front about RDO being a beta and when that beta period would start and that more news would come later.  ....this was prior to RDR2s release.

I preordered RDR2 too but went into it knowing full well that RDO would not be a finished product and with no expectations on when the final release would come.  Everything else was pure speculation.  Before RDOs release they provided additional details which included news that it would continue over the course of "months".

However, I had expected that "fixes "would be coming more frequently than they had given what they had stated in one of their earlier status updates.

I too was ready for the Beta, but I also know that if players consider it acceptable process, then in the future this is what we can expect everytime.    It doesn't change the fact that it has been stated that they started the process back in 2010.  That means it's been 9 years and they keep telling the players more is coming.  Just be patient and wait.

That goes back to my earlier comments, would you buy a car that you knew wasn't going to work right and told they will fix it.  Yet you are expected to continue making payments or buy the car out right?  Or a house even?  I wan the game done right, but they are given no signs of being fixed or being right.  Yet we are suppose to keep playing along as if no issues.

For some players they may have an issue and when they complain, another states it's a non-issue.  Their game is just fine.   So what we find to be acceptable start becoming an issue cause players are just happy to have a game and will say anything just to keep playing.  Meanwhile others expect it to be perfect.  To me when they decided it was time for micro-transactions, to me that means they are collecting money the game must be fully up and going.

Well, it's not as if they spent all those years doing nothing.  We have RDR2 which is the meat of what this franchise means to many fans.  .....and while it may seem like a no-brainer, no one even knew for sure if RDR2 would have an online component until they announced later that they would.

If you look at it another way, maybe R* didn't want to come out with a completed online component and rather chose to have their community help them through development with their ideas, suggestions and feedback?   ....through lessons learned from GTAO.  This was something else they touched on and one of the reasons they set up the RDO Feedback website.

https://www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption2/online/feedback?step=f2e50892

....but as I've always said, I'd rather take a wait and see approach than dwell in negative conjecture.

I purposely skipped those comments because in truth, they are bad analogies.  Spending tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars on prototype vehicles and unfinished homes is a lot different than spending $60 on a game.  .....a game I might add that did have a complete campaign.  It's just the online component that is still in development.

....but again, nothing else was promised to those who bought the game.

Well, that's all personal perspective and opinion though.  I don't know what you want to do about that.  I know nothing I say here will change your mind about R*, the direction of RDO, etc.  What I do know that I am not dismissive of problems others report when I don't have them and in fact have been quite supportive.  I can't control what others may say on those subjects.

As for MTXs, I never saw the issue as I have never purchased such things in games and I doubt I ever will in RDO.  I would get into the whole reason I think R* made the decision to put the system in place at this early stage but I know it will make no difference.

I will say that if I felt this negative about a company or product, I wouldn't have made the purchase to begin with or I would have shelved the game last year after I completed the campaign.  ......but that's just me.

The game will have a very small active player population if they wait a year to fix things.

An entirely reasonable expectation, too, I might add.
