Good video. Actually forgot how good these side missions were to play.

So as par the question, what are some side missions you think RDR2 needs to top?

For me, I like the emotional missions that involved substance beyond my own understanding. For that, I would like to see RDR2 top Flowers for a Lady. While I get the impression from the latest trailer that we may not see anything like this, I have hopes for something similar.

If we are taking "strange" into consideration, I would say that Birth of the Conservation Movement takes the cake. I did not see it coming down to making Sasquatch continue to live all alone or shoot him to relieve his broken heart. I shot him.

That was one of the more creative ones but it didn't seem to take as much time. Either way, for it being DLC, I enjoyed it as well.

I don't think they need to top anything in particular. They just need to deliver missions we would enjoy. I am fine with them being on the same level as the last game. Have some easy ones, some funny ones, some emotional ones, and some you want to launch your controller across the room over.

I really liked "I know you" which was mentioned in the video. It had a nice flow to it about bringing up accounts of the past but the ending made it feel like the dude was just John's guilty conscience.

None. They don't need to top anything. They just need to have good missions worth playing. A decent reward system would help. I really don't care about trophies so I could care a less if I get those or not. I want in game rewards. Money, slick guns, gear, ect. for completing missions.

This.

When we think of the first one, it has great moments. Some missions are strange, cool, or just memorable. I don't need them to be topped. I just want RDR2 to have stand out missions that make me have a reaction when I complete them.

Exactly! What makes a great sequel or prequel is not how many things it topped from the last one, but the memorability of what actually takes place in the game.
