Peeped this on GTA forums....

This was from the beginning of October and is linking some of the voice actor names together.

What stood out the most to me on this list is...

Rob Wiethoff – as John Marston in RDR, likely to return in RDR2.
Online connections with – Rockstar Dev 2, Benjamin Byron Davis, Steve J Palmer, Noshir Dalal, Cali Moore

This blog post is what made me go looking into this stuff. What do you guys think?

The issue with this list as that these people could have become friends ya know, it doesn't mean they necessarily are tied in with RDR2. Social media speculation won't get us any closer to knowing who is in the game. Do I want John Marston to make an appearance... Well, YEAH, who doesn't!? But he is a voice actor and could be doing a voice for another character or maybe none at all.

This is the way I see it. These people always have connections. Connections get you gigs and work. I still think John will be in the game though.

I seen this talked about a few times by different people on Youtube, blogs, ect. and I don't think it is anything to look into. Like mentioned already, it is not uncommon for people to keep in touch after working together in the entertainment industry.

Same here. Nothing to even note. A friend of mine who moved to California to do voice acting as an extra said that people keep in touch all the time long after a gig is done. It keeps connections linked for future work.

I wouldn't say it is not worth talking about entirely. I mean some of these connections would make sense ONLY if they were part of the next game. That being said, it doesn't mean anything right now but it could in the near future. If something comes of it, I will be back in this thread but for now it is just speculation.
