Have you noticed larger treasures?

Since the big release, I have.

I looted two treasure maps and achieved a level treasure map. The gold ranged between 93 nuggets and 1.2 bars. Two of the three paid over $100 ($103.xx and $126.xx) The least was $93 and change. I hope this is the new norm and not something promotional.

1.3 gold and $135 average on two treasure maps.. plus 3 level ups and many dailies since tuesday... gold mining is on fire

The biggest payouts I have had from treasure maps were $165 and $163. That was 3 - 4 months ago.  The latest was $132 a week ago.

My last two maps (one looted and one level up) under the "25%" bonus netted me $63 and $71 dollars. Kind of pissed me off.

The level 100 treasure map I got had 1.5 gold bars, plus cash in it, so yeah the multiplier is adding up, also the daily challenges if you do them everyday that adds up too, each day when I log in I get anywhere from 1 to 6 gold bars, today was 6, lately the gold is pouring in.

I only spend gold on metal upgrades to my guns so it doesnt much matter whenever I get 5 I go to the gunsmith.

The only things I ever used gold for otherwise was a fishing pole and  the bolero hat and one other piece of clothing I needed for a uniform, but now it is just for gun upgrades.

I reached lvl. 110. Collected my treasurebox all time low $45 😪 Took me ~ 33.000 xp!!! May be they lowered the amount > lvl 100 after the update?  In all my lvls I received, as unlucky looter, two treasure maps😥

The reason we're seeing larger treasures right now is that Rockstar is giving up a little percentage boost on $$ and gold, including treasures this week.
