PIN on map?

Hey Guys!

Dont know if this has been talked about before, but i would like to know, how you can "pin" on the map? like, if you know a special place has Gang Hideouts, or strangers asking for a lift.

I have seen alot on Reddit, where people post images, where their map has got pins. 

How to do this?

The same way as you do in the story mode, I beleive.

Go into the map screen and read the legend at the bottom of the screen for "set marker" or something like that (I'm not at my console right now).

Sounds like that was an easy request mate. I will try it when i get home

I missed using that feature for a heck of a long time before I found it. And then I used it for everything (gang hideouts, herb locations, animal spawn points, etc.)

Online, does it survive logging off?

Yes. I believe after the last update your pins stay where you put them. As for how to set them, it’s L3 on my PS4. I’m sure it’s got some equivalent for XBox

Markers/pins stay on the map across sessions, even between logging in or out. There's a limit to how many you can set, I believe it is 15.

I wish we could change the colours of the pins to distinguish between them.

Or label them... so you know why you put that pin there two weeks later after a night of Liquor and Gaming...
