HuDawg
Reading through the article.. "It took over a year for GTA O to become what it is today'? WTF is that dude talking about? Currently GTA O is a mess.. What he means is.. It took a few years for them to truly understand how to nickle and dime their player base and completely ruin what GTA is all about. The '1st' year of GTA O was OLD gen.. Old gen, pre HEISTS update was the best, most balanced, most grounded version of GTA O. GTA O year ONE.. Had free aim/ autoaim/ private lobbies.. As far as "SHOW DOWN" goes.. PVP is a ****ing mess in this game as you can't even chose what you want to play. AUTO AIM ruins pvp. Ability cards/Tonics completely unbalance PVP. And the lack of proper lobbies/hosting/private options killed any sort of true competitive pvp scene. To put this in context. GTA O always had a competitive racing scene. Due to PRIVATE lobbies and hosting options. If R* pulls that same crap in the next GTA Online game.. And forced public only RANDOM lonely races. That same thing will happen to that racing scene as the current pvp scene in RD O.. It will be DOA Then he says some garble about griefing.. "We've already seen less griefing'. Coming from someone who never plays the game, that's pretty funny. Nothings changed in terms of griefing. Its still the same as it always was.
jnaron_ngc
I would have thought that R* would have easily slipped in this cowboy version of GTA O, after all the experience they have creating GTA O, I was wrong. Speaking to R* support as much as I do, It becomes obvious some of their people are great, but some are not very experienced. Tier 1.
Dissention
100% agree with stated above... Only thing I could add is I think the core player bought the game back in October and has been playing the online version for what 8 9 months now and they're just drip feeding the game to death. Yeah the roles will be cool but how long are people going to wait for updates..every 6 months.. a new ugly hat for $100+ isn't going to cut it. I got fundamentally the same bugs I had 6 months ago and support just says here is x amount of $'s please bear with us. They're adding 300k copies a month for 6 months now and expect that to slow..how many turn to online play vs story mode... IDK... I said it B4 Sept through Christmas is new game time.... something like Star Wars is any good I'm gone. And that corporate BS that The whole griefing has gone down because people have something to do is what through me over the edge in that article, especially when I got multiple instances of d-bags trying to attack me when I'm just out hunting for dailies. Then I got to fend off entire flocks of raging griefers, idiots trying to lasso me, or posses who think they own that S***hole tumbleweed and stuff like that. And agree PVP is a joke.

I don't know if he was kidding himself or just lying but the guy had 0 credibility for me as soon as that was said.
