ETTA DOYLE: WANTED ALIVE FOR A SERIES OF TRAIN AND STAGECOACH ROBBERIESNEW LEGENDARY BOUNTY NOW AVAILABLE - PLUS NEW EMOTES AND RDO$ GIFT

1f57dc8b909b953c06dcfa97c0230ac7db98dc31

In a past life, Etta Doyle trafficked in vice, working as a procuress for ladies of the night. She went by a different name then, too: Madame La Perle. But La Perle and her gang of discouraged women have since reinvented themselves as bandits, robbing stagecoaches and trains with a particular fancy for stealing from Leviticus Cornwall.

Cornwall has grown weary of his freight being targeted and has hatched a plan to ensnare Doyle - by spreading rumors of high value goods traveling by rail through St Denis. The goods, of course, are fake - and Cornwall means to spring an ambush. Wishing to distance himself and his company from the dirty work, Cornwall requires the assistance of qualified and experienced Bounty Hunters.

Doyle and her gang are considered extremely dangerous, but mercy must be spared, and the target is required to be captured alive. Her identifying traits are a scar on her right cheek that she earned in a knife fight and the fact that she dresses in male clothing - though she will likely mask her face to conceal her true identity.

Licensed Bounty Hunters can take on Legendary Bounty Missions by approaching the nearest Bounty Board, indicated on the map. A short while after completing a Legendary Bounty it will reappear to be played at an increased difficulty, indicated by the number of stars present on the poster. For those who will experience Red Dead Online for the first time on PC tomorrow, connecting your Social Club account with Twitch Prime will get you the Bounty Hunter license for free. To ensure access to all kinds of future Red Dead Online benefits, make sure to visit Twitch Prime and sign up.

Any idea why the weekly update is a day early this week? Good job I did the last Bounty yesterday and didn’t leave it til tonight.

Didn’t play for long but the update appears to have introduced a number of minor but annoying changes:

when dropping off materials with Cripps it no longer defaults to the donate tab of the satchel, butcher and Madame Nazar I suspect may also be affected but I didn’t use either of them to check.

The metal detector appeared to need a more deliberate control motion to select than previously.

And when exiting the game via the Story menu item, pressing down on d-pad no longer takes you to “exit game” or whatever it’s called directly - you have to scroll across sideways.

Little things on the face of it I know but fecking annoying when your brain has dialled in the muscle memory for these actions and now you have to reprogram. Can’t see any good reason for the changes, just change for the sake of appearing to be working on the game.

Yes I noticed the one about donating to Cripps.  Hoped it was just me in that session.  Vain hope, probably - agree that it messes with muscle memory.

Cool new bounty though, ranked me up to #20 so I have maxed the three collector roles, finally, and liked the pressure of having to bring her in alive.

Yes the one with the tab not being the donate one is annoying.

What is most important - they "fixed the animal spawns. It came back to normal like it used to be. This is very important to me bcoz i was soo frustrated when i was on missions soo many animals were there and after the mission gone. I dont hunt that much anymore - it was just pure annoying to me. Some ppl hunted only during missions , some glitched solo lobbies. That is not the way it should work. Im happy its back to normal now.

Also they fixed the amount of materials obtined from various bird feathers  sold to cripps. Before it was almost every feather 0,09 materials - now they vary depending on what type of bird you hunted.

The new Legendary bounty is my least favorite of all and easiest imo. I loved the 5* Gator man bounty and last weeks "mayor" bounty bcoz it was tricky to deliver him alive on 5*.

I really like the Halloween pvp mode. Shame so few ppl participate in it. Sometimes it takes 20 mins or more to find a group.

I did notice that raven feathers were the same value as turkey feathers. Ironically, with that change the animal spawn fix is less important. I thought animal spawns seemed a bit better i.e. there actually were some on a server of 20+ players but I didn't see enough to declare it properly 'fixed'.

I heard they also worked on stability  issues. Is that any better? I recently swapped out my Comcast modem for one I own and ever since then my connection stability has been brutal with constant disconnects. I tried just about every solution I could find online to fix it and nothing has worked. I had to quit playing, I couldn't take all the disconnects.
