Digital version of the game with the collectors editions

Please offer a digital version of the game for the collectors editions, I like getting the cool physical stuff but don’t want to put disc in to play the game, yes I am that lazy lol, thanks

Rockstar would likely not pay attention anyway. lol I'm sure we will have options. I mean there were a lot of talks about the gaming world becoming fully digital at some point so having "special editions" would likely still be a thing.

I want a physical copy myself. It is part of the experience but I know a lot of devs and gamers are pushing for nothing but digital gaming. They will still have collectors editions but I doubt they would be as good.

I don't understand that. Like if they do push to have everything be digital, then we better get some discounts cause you know they will be saving a lot of money on not having to burn the games to discs or make cases.

We won't. They will just pocket the difference. They will save tons of cash not having to make those things and we won't see a penny back because of it.

I mean I am not seeing a physical copy in this bundle. I think you get a code with the collector's box or am I wrong?

At GameStop you can pre-order just the collectors box for $99 plus tax which does not include the game at all no physical copy no digital copy. But do have bundles for each version of the physical copies of the game and the collectors box set for $159.99(regular edition) $179.99(special edition) $199.99(ultimate edition) plus taxes. I went to my local GameStop and they ARE taking pre-orders for in store pickup, so I pre-ordered the ultimate edition and collectors box set for $199.99! But if you have the GameStop app or go to their website it says it's online only, but it is NOT call your local GameStop to confirm, it's just a computer error. No bundle has the digital editions of the game. That's why RockStar and also many other companies have started making collectors editions without the game for the people that prefer to have the digital editions to have the opportunity to enjoy the items in the physical collectors edition!

Would have been nice for them to offer three versions:

• With physical copy (I still prefer smelling and touching that piece of plastic). Most expensive copy
• Digitial version included and also lowering the price by a few bucks. You can't re-sell or borrow it to anyone so you should be subsidised a little lol
• No copy of the game.

I mean how many people are going to buy the collectors kit and not the game? So they could at least give people the choice.
