Can I "dispose" of old weapons?

I know I can store them but can I actually get ride of them or is that legit not an option?

It can be annoying sometimes because I only use a handful of things these days but I have so many unused weapons.

There is a weapons locker of sorts you can now buy for your camp like in GTAO.  You can store unused weapons there but no, you cannot sell than nor drop them once acquired.

Yeah there is not an option which to me, always seemed silly. Like why not allow us to get rid of certain weapons to keep better organization? Selling them would make the most sense or even having random NPC's pulling them off you and running with them.

You can't rid yourself of them on or offline. You can store them online at least. It can be annoying when you reach a lot of weapon options. The way the menu functions just doesn't feel right when you are packing that much heat.

They need some kind of functioning pawn shop to rid yourself of weapons you don't want. This way there is an option to always buy them back if you want but they can make it so some items go up in price when you buy them back.

I still say this was a dumb mechanic in the game. Realistically speaking, you wouldn't be able to carry more than like 6 weapons at a time on you and this is including what you can hold on your horse.
