I have come to a conclusion that we are unwanted players. Not one of us will buy gold bars bcoz we have loads of them. We are like the pain in the a$$ demanding new content and bug fixes...... R* only wants new players to come and play 50 maybe more levels and buy some gold bars while at it to get a horse and stupid hats with feathers and whatnot. I have hoped for this game to become something great (the online i mean - the story mode is a masterpiece) but lost all hope now. Stopped playing online with almost 1000 gold bars and level 320. Animal spawns may not be perfect, but Good enough I decided to finally by the hunting wagon (I’ve been putting it off was it made little sense when I could barely find enough critters to load up onto the horse). I loaded up Cripps with dead critters, got Frenchie started on a batch of shine and decided to park my wagon down by the shore and go fishing (free time was another luxury I seem to have gotten back now that I Don’t have to spend every second killing things for cripps). Hauling 5 sturgeon into the butcher at a time makes it much more relaxing... and I haven’t been fishing (in RDR) for ages. as for the weekly bonuses, I could take them or leave them. They’re definitely geared towards new players, but I did use a saddle discount to buy myself a saddle I had my eye on but have been putting off. Then again, I’m not one to grind and buy everything in sight as soon as it comes out, so I still have quite a few things to check off my long term shopping list. Over all, I do see the game improving. Maybe it’s not perfect yet, but there is definitely improvement in the last little while. When I logged back on, I found the wildlife to actually be at the level of where I remembered it before these issues started for me. As for R* catering to new players, with some of these bonuses, yes, they are. ....but a lot of these things can also benefit other players as well with XP and cash multipliers, etc. We also have to remember there are a lot of folks who have suspended their gameplay like me (lvl 80 something) who haven't completed all of their roles, missions, etc. Some of these things can help bring people like me back to the game. For those that have everything already, what can I say? If I were that far along in the game I'd likely hang up my hat until the next content drop. Personally, I don't work through the content like some others do. It baffles me how fast some blow through the roles, etc. Even when I was playing regularly I didn't come close. For me, it's more about enjoying the experience and just having fun doing these activities with a friend, etc. Anyhow, I'll keep posting these updates for those who are interested. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I’m also sure they will see improvement with time. I still have the odd issue with camps and animals. But like I said, it does seem to be getting better all the time.
