ChrisCr0ss
Where are you planning on pre-ordering? I am undecided myself but I am not in a rush. Also, I think there was a post done showing all the options and what you get for preordering with who but I can't find it. If anyone would be so kind as to post that here, would be super helpful. tadp0le
I don't remember there being any specific bonuses for pre-ordering at any one place. I could be wrong. Maybe they didn't announce those yet? Quote The Pre-Order Bonuses for Red Dead Redemption 2 include the War Horse, Outlaw Survival Kit and Cash Bonus for Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode. CMcC
As soon as a physical copy is available, Amazon.
Truth
@ChrisCr0ss I always go with amazon. They have a promotion for 20% off all (physical copy) preorders for prime members, so they usually have the best price. I'm assuming that explains @CMcC's choice.
HIGHHorse
I was debating on this but as mentioned, you get the best deal going through Amazon if you have Prime. They are good with getting the games out on time for the most part so I wouldn't worry about there being a delay.
CMcC
Anyone know why they don’t yet carry the physical copy?? It’s driving me insane.

Because the margins are higher on digital download codes. There's no physical media for them to store in a warehouse, no shipping cost to them, and a decreased concern for piracy/resale. By locking out physical preorders in the short term, they effectively herd folks into purchasing the electronic download instead.
