Also, I think there was a post done showing all the options and what you get for preordering with who but I can't find it. If anyone would be so kind as to post that here, would be super helpful.

HIGHHorse Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 I was debating on this but as mentioned, you get the best deal going through Amazon if you have Prime. They are good with getting the games out on time for the most part so I wouldn't worry about there being a delay.

Because the margins are higher on digital download codes. There's no physical media for them to store in a warehouse, no shipping cost to them, and a decreased concern for piracy/resale. By locking out physical preorders in the short term, they effectively herd folks into purchasing the electronic download instead.
