Winchester Model 1897

While my focus in Red Dead Online is on weapons from the Wild West era, there is nothing better than the sound of the action of a Winchester Model 1897 (Pump-action Shotgun). I received it for free as part of my pre-order bonus on the PS4. I'll stick the Double-barreled Shotgun for sometime once I unlock it, but let's here your thoughts on the Winchester Model 1897?

My preferred shotgun or close combat weapon. Attractive weapon sound and 1-shot kill potential.

It's my favorite shotgun. The Germans didn't like it so much in WW1, though.

yeh, they filed a formal protest against its use, claming it to be too "brutal" for the trenches.

 

ingame it works allright. shotgun is a shotgun, dont see the point on the other 2 shotguns. with the slug ammo, it becomes a fun alternative to repeaters.
