WTH is Happening

I have 2 questions.

first, I was riding along suddenly I am flying and burning,  horse is dead and the screen says I killed myself in a fall?  It happened 3 times in 5 mins.  Once when I was running without my horse.

 

second,  I get killed by another player,  I respawn, said player suddenly teleports to me and kills me again,  This goes on for around 10 times.  Was I fighting someone from star trex with point to point teleportation?

Hey haven't come back since they posted so yeah, that was my assumption as well.  Sounds like a victim of hackers.

The falling thing is a grief/hack attack - best defence is as soon as it happens log out of the game - that does/should avoid the fall death & any injury to your horse - then just log back in either to your camp or free roaming if you were up to something in particular

As for the 2nd thing, not seen this before but sounds like its a hack - same advice - logout then log back in - you should then be in another "world" & safe from the hacker - if you can remember the player name you can always check who is in the world with you 

Hacking & Griefing have died out a bit as many of them have left the game but there are a few still around & it will get worse with the release of new content next week as some people just want to "watch the world burn"
