What do you think is next for RDR following RDR 2?

I think it is a safe bet to assume Rockstar will be working on another RDR after GTA 6 is finalized. Some speculate that they already started working on one and it will be out in 2030. Crazy to say that and read it. I am going to be so old haha

Assuming they are going to do another one, what do you think would come next?

I wouldn't mind going back to Jack Marston and having a story that focuses on his life. I also wouldn't mind if they introduced another character in another area and have some overlap ties from both games. Not sure what time period they would choose. RDR 2 is in 1899 and RDR 1 is in 1911. So maybe they decide to go further back in time again or we see Jack adjust into the world where the American frontier is quickly fading away.

Yes and I wouldn't mind it either... However, this means it will be closer to present day so the cowboy aspects will be faded even more. Like think about how it was in RDR 1. We started seeing cars and stuff.

I think it would be better to go back further in time. Maybe something in the 1860's or 1870's. 

Wouldn't make much sense to follow up with Jack cause that means the old west would be dead. Maybe they could tie him into an LA Noire style game if they ever do one of those again.

I think this is the best way forward if they do another one. They can't really follow Jack without it being more modern. I would not mind a game for him but it can't be RDR in my mind.

If they go back, they can introduce other characters as well and maybe have us play as the badies.

I think tying some loose ends between the first two games by giving them more history prior to certain events would be cool. They would have to mostly introduce new characters unless it happens only a handful of years prior to RDR2.

When does the wild west start in the US? Like the time period in which it kicked off. I think it would be cool to go back to that and to be part of the history that established it.
