CrabApples
I know a lot of the mini-quests in RDR1 was centered around skinning animals, collecting plants, and saving people.. But could they do more in RDR2? As I mentioned before, I didn't play the first one so I may be leaving something out here but I feel like the mini-quests can dive a bit deeper into the actual history of the old west. bluntTR4P
I was fine with what they had tbh. There doesn't seem to be a need to have THAT many detailed side missions. Most people skip them unless they plan on 100% maxing out the completion.

I find most people play them and enjoy them because they make the game feel longer. Like if it was just a straight story to the end, the game would likely feel waaay too short ya know? Reyes
Um. Well, I don't care much either way. I don't mind them but I don't need anything fancy. I enjoyed what they had in the first one.
CowBoii
I'd like to see more mini quests that involve traveling since it was part of the times back then. Maybe delivering packages. I honestly never minded those kinds of quests.

It was never something that I cared about in a game unless I was rewarded with something for the main story line.

I guess with some side missions and quests this is the case but almost always, you do get a reward. I think a lot of RDR's had to do with minor perks. Nothing that is "needed" for the story but just items that would make it better/more fun.
bluntTR4P
If they have some solid thing you can unlock to further the story, I am all for that. But if it is just achievement hunting I could care a less. I am not someone to play a game till it is 100%. I decide when I am done.
Bustin Gutz
The side quests should exist to further the narrative how you want it to go. Some side quests should give you options of what type of weapons, fellow outlaws to allow in your gang based on attributes, or businesses you want to invest in. This concept could allow each person to have different exp.

I feel like something like this could even prolong the game's life in story mode. Sometimes they feel too short!
